It is a night of wonder for all of us! I hope it becomes a
Night in Wonderland for everyone.
Our Annual Gala is a wonderful chance to affirm the
extraordinary mission of St. Eugene Parish. By our
participation in this event we add our support to many
of the principle ministries and functions that help to
define us as a parish. Our Parish School with its
powerful work of education, the Friends of Bolivia and
their outreach to the poorest as well as our contribution
to the new church, all of these efforts combine to make
your presence here glow with wonder.
I am grateful for your support. Without you we can do
nothing; with you we can do anything. May God’s
goodness continue to accompany us in our lives and
surround us with joy. May our celebration reflect this
same joy we share with one another. And may our time
together be a true reflection of the wonder that is ours

On behalf of the 2014 Gala Committee,
we would like to welcome you to A Night in
Wonderland. It has been our pleasure and
distinct honor to serve our community of faith and
bring you the 2014 St. Eugene Annual Gala.
A Night in Wonderland and all of the surrounding magic of the
evening could not have happened without the treasures, talents
and time of so many of us in the room tonight. The committee
would like to thank those of you have purchased seats, bought
raffle tickets and who will bid on items tonight. Your generosity
is appreciated.
As it is the tradition of the St. Eugene Gala, we would like to
introduce the 2014 Gala honoree, Mrs. Anne Codding. Mrs.
Codding was the principal at St. Eugene for 10 years. She also had
an integral part in the design of our beautiful new church. She was
instrumental in laying the foundation to our community’s ongoing
commitment to a world class Catholic education.
Thank you to the countless donors, sponsors (many of whom are
anonymous) and the droves of volunteers who have worked to
make tonight possible. Thank you again to all of the patrons of this
year’s Gala, who will ensure that tonight’s generosity and fellowship
bless our school, strengthen our church and help minister the

Any person bidding on an item at the Auction will be
deemed to have read, understood and accepted the
General Auction Rules.

After each auction has closed, the highest bidder will be
posted. In case of a dispute, the Auctioneer’s decision will
be final.

Minimum bid increases must be made in at least $5
increments.

Buyers should contact donors within 60 days of the Auction
to arrange dinners, vacations, condos, etc. Vacation
homes are non-transferable, and are donated for adults
and families and are subject to availability restriction,
blackout dates, taxes and gratuities. Trips or services are
valid for one year

Should a winning bidder fail, for whatever cause, to
arrange for a trip, meal, party, etc. within the time limit
specified and according to any stated conditions and or
limitations, neither the donor nor St. Eugene Catholic
Church or School are obligated to provide a refund.

Neither the Auction Committee nor St. Eugene Catholic
Church or School has made an examination of the items
offered nor do they make any representation or warranty
of any kind. Winning bidder assumes the risk of any and all
items purchased at the auction. All items of this kind are
sold “AS IS” without expressed or implied representations,
guarantees, or warranties of any kind, except those which
may be supplied by the donor or manufacturer.
