October 23rd, Tier 2 Judging School: the Central Alberta Holstein Club is hosting a Tier 2
Judging School on Thursday, October 23rd at the Westerner in Red Deer. Registration is at
10:30am, Judging at 11am. This event is for official and aspiring judges from the four
Western Provinces. However everyone is welcome to come and watch. Ronald Dubois will
be the judge for the event.
October 24th, Central Alberta Holstein Club Showcase Sale at 11am. Westerner Exhibition
Grounds, Westerner Park, Red Deer. This year Pol Butte Holsteins is a guest consignor in the
CAHC Showcase Sale, selling 15 head from great cow families.
October 23&25, Westerner Championship Dairy Showcase, Westerner Exhibition Grounds,
Westerner Park, Red Deer. Western Canada’s largest fall dairy show and sale. Junior Show
will be on October 23rd at 5pm. Jersey Show - Friday, October 24th at 5pm,
Holstein Show - Saturday, October 25th at 8:30am, Mega Moola Draw - Saturday, October
25th at 5pm, Awards Banquet - Saturday, October 25th at 6pm.

Alberta Holstein Association Annual General Meeting:
This year’s meeting will be held on February 6th, 2015 in Camrose. The Northern Alberta
Holstein Club will be the host club. Make plans to attend the meeting and support your local Breeder of the Year with your attendance.
2016 National Convention: As you might know Alberta will be hosting this event. A show
and sale will be held in Calgary, the Annual General Meeting and the Master Breeder will be
held at the Rimrock in Banff.
