Nominations have now closed for the 2013 triennial local authority elections. Listed below are details of the confirmed candidates for elections within the Ruapehu
District Council area. The issues where elections are required are grouped at the top of the listing for each local authority.
Where elections are required they will be conducted by postal voting on Saturday 12 October 2013. Voting will open on Friday 20 September 2013 and will close at
12 noon on Saturday, 12 October 2013.

Enrolment and Special Voting Arrangements
Ruapehu District Council residents and ratepayers who are not listed on the final electoral roll for these elections can enrol at PostShops, libraries or at the Ruapehu
District Council office up to 4pm on Friday 11 October 2013.
Special voting facilities will be available during normal office hours between Friday 20 September and Friday 11 October 2013 and from 9am to 12 noon on Saturday
12 October 2013 from the following venues:
