Jay is a community development coordinator and a facilitator for melanoma support groups throughout NSW. Jay is a stage III melanoma survivor working to support others in a similar situation. Prof Fran Boyle Mater Hospital, Melanoma Institute Dr Katharine Hodgkinson HeadWay Health Australia Fran is a Medical Oncologist at North Sydney’s Mater Hospital, where she is Director of the Patricia Ritchie Centre for Cancer Care and Research, and Professor of Medical Oncology at the University of Sydney. Dr Teresa Lee Melanoma Institute Australia Katharine is a clinical psychologist with over 16 years experience in client care, research and education. Headway Health’s team of Clinical Psychologists and its consulting Dietitian specialise in the care of those affected by cancer and enhancing recovery post cancer. Dr Sydney Ch’ng Melanoma Institute Australia Teresa is a physiotherapist who specialises in lymphoedema and musculoskeletal problems related to cancer care. She is an Honorary Lecturer and a Research Associate at The University of Sydney. She runs the Lymphoedema Clinic at MIA and is the current NSW representative for the Australasian Lymphology Association. Sydney is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a head and neck surgeon. Sydney consults at The Poche Centre and at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. Sydney’s clinical and research interests include advanced skin cancers and complex facial and head & neck reconstruction. Dr Robyn Saw Melanoma Institute Australia Samantha O’Neill Cancer Connect volunteer Robyn is a surgical oncologist and general surgeon at Melanoma Institute Australia. She consults at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and at the Poche Centre. Dr Saw is also a Senior Lecturer in Surgery at The University of Sydney. Samantha is a volunteer for the Cancer Council’s Cancer Connect program and works as a peer support person for people affected by melanoma. Lynne Ainsworth Red Crane Consulting Jessica Scott Accredited Practising Dietitian Lynne has over 25 years’ experience in global Human Resource Management extending across both private and public sectors. Lynne holds a Bachelor of Business in Human Resource Management and a Masters of International Human Resource Management and has been providing pro bono HR assistance to Cancer Council clients for the past 12 months. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Sydney. Jessica is a Clinical Dietitian in a tertiary Sydney hospital providing nutrition support to patients during illness and group nutrition education for cardiac rehab and community groups. Kim Pearce Cancer Council NSW John Friedsam CanTeen Kim is an oncology nurse who has worked with the Cancer Council NSW for over 23 years focusing on supportive care for people affected by cancer. Kim currently provides training and promotes best practice for cancer support group leaders. John is the counselling services manager for CanTeen with vast experience and knowledge of support services for people with cancer, and the development and training of support group leaders. Alex Smith The Exercise Clinic Alex is an accredited exercise physiologist at The Exercise Clinic.
