Expanding Grape Producer
seeking to fulfill multiple positions
for individuals with experience
growing grapes and/or managing
vineyards. Currently we farm 4800
acres of grapes and will continue
to expand acreage every year for
the next 5 years. These positions
will be based in Bakersfield, CA
and support Vineyard operations
in the Maricopa, Delano and
Bakersfield growing regions.
Key Responsibilities include, but
are not limited to: • Directs and
oversees vineyard crew, including
but not limited to tractor drivers,
vineyard workers and irrigators
as they perform pest and disease
control, pruning, tying, suckering,
shoot positioning, leafing, thinning,
frost protection, irrigation, harvest
and other viticulture practices
under the supervision of the
Vineyard Manager and/or VP
of Farming Operations• Hires,
trains, supervises, motivates, and
develops vineyard staff; manages
schedules and workflow; ensures
staff adherence to safety guidelines
and procedures. • Assigns duties and
monitors quality of work; assures
staff conforms to organizational
policies and procedures and
government regulations.•
Maintains farming, safety and
other supplies for department. •
Provides day-to-day guidance
and oversight of subordinates;
actively works to promote and
recognize performance. • Keeps
up to date on overall activities
