What is the Texas Downtown Association?
The Texas Downtown Association (TDA) is an independent, statewide, nonprofit membership
organization dedicated to downtown development and revitalization. We offer education,
advocacy for downtown issues, networking opportunities for downtown professionals, recognition for
outstanding downtown projects and direct services to our members.
In the late 1970s, only a handful of Texas communities had active downtown organizations. Spread
throughout the state, their opportunities to learn from one another and share successes were rare. In
1985, the Texas Downtown Association was officially formed, connecting communities that were
committed to downtown.
Today, our membership includes representatives from over 400 communities, nonprofits, businesses
and individuals from across the state. Membership is open to anyone who’s interested in downtown
and commercial district development and revitalization.
About TDA’s Annual Downtown Conference:
For more than 25 years, the Texas Downtown Association has hosted a statewide conference for
leaders of downtown and commercial district development and revitalization.
Typically 150-200 attendees are present during educational sessions, tours and evening events.
Conference participants include city leaders, downtown & district managers, economic
development professionals, planners, community residents and business owners.
Exhibiting Includes:
 4’ x 8’ booth with skirting and chairs
 Connecting with customers and potential customers of your products and/or services
 Listing on the TDA website and company information included in the conference program
 One conference registration
 Access to attendees during refreshment breaks and Lightening Round (extra fee to participate
in the Lightening Round, scheduled to take place on November 5)
 Contact information of conference attendees (Please note that TDA does not share email
addresses)

Complete the 2014 Exhibitor Application. Please keep a copy for your records.
To be included in advance print materials for the Conference, email, mail or fax completed Exhibitor
Application, and send full payment by June 20, 2014. Final deadline for reserving a booth is October
24, 2014.

Credit card payments are accepted. Pay online at http://www.texasdowntown.org/revitalizationconference-2013.html. You will still need to complete and send the 2014 Exhibitor Application, which
can be emailed, faxed, or mailed to the TDA office.
All booths will be assigned in order of receipt of Exhibitor Application and full payment.
Exhibiting space is limited. If you require a space greater than 4’ x 8’, you will need to purchase a
second booth.

Lightning Round: $50.00
The Exhibitor Lightning Round is an opportunity for exhibitors to get guaranteed face time with
attendees. During the scheduled time, attendees will visit your booth to learn about your products
and services and will be rewarded with a raffle ticket, which will enter them into a raffle for various
prizes. No other sessions are scheduled during this time period.

Packet Contributor Only (for non-exhibitors): $100.00
Include your company or association brochures in conference attendee registration packets.
Materials must be received by October 24, 2014 for inclusion in registration packets.
