The Pro-Life Club will meet tomorrow morning at 7:30 in Faber Hall. Club t-shirts will
be distributed at this meeting.

The Philosophy Club will meet this afternoon after school in room 107. All are welcome
to attend.

Attention peer ministers - please remain in the chapel today after convocation for a brief
announcement.

The varsity golf team finished runner-up yesterday at the Regional Championships at
East Lake Woodlands. The second-place finish qualifies the team for the State
Championships on November 4th and 5th. Matt Zloto shot a 75, which earned him a 6th
place finish. Matt Ruel and Kurt Sierra fired 78's and Alec Murawski shot 80. Congrats
Tiger Golf!

Last night the Tiger Bowlers defeated Tampa Prep 4-0. The Tigers were led by Cody
Benedict with a 230 and Anthony Meehan with a 214. The Tigers face Calvary Christian
on Thursday. Congratulations Tiger Bowlers!

Yesterday the cross country team finished 6th place out of 27 teams at the Hillsborough
County Championship and placed first in the private school division. Jason Caldwell
placed 8th out of more than 200 runners with a personal best time of 16:04. Charlie
Gonzmart, John Robbins, and David Plante also ran personal bests, and Tyler Pratt ran a
season-best. The JV team took second place overall and were led by Griffin Rain who
finished fifth and set a personal best. Dominic Santos, Harrison Sauter, Tyler Miller
finished in the top twenty. Congratulations cross country.

Day 3 Order 1
 Attention Agmen Christi - tomorrow's meeting will be for all sodalities in Faber Hall at
7:30. Permission slips for Belle Glade are due, as well as money for polos.
 On Saturday, the Jesuit Speech and Debate team had a successful showing winning 7
trophies and hitting several milestones at the tournament at Riverview High School in
Sarasota. Alex Fiore won a third place and a Gavel award for Student Congress. In
policy debate, Jackson Moffett and Gantt Meredith won 2nd and Cullen Finley and
Lincoln Nichter won 3rd. Dean Lontoc won second place for extemporaneous speaking.
Jackson Moffett also hit the prestigious 500 point level achieving the level of “Special
Distinction.” Ryan Sullivan, Hector Rizo, and Roberto Roches achieved the level of
National Speech and Debate full membership. Congrats Tiger Speech and Debate!
 On Saturday, the Jesuit Masque participated for the first time in the Florida State
Thespians District 9 Festival, which featured top high school theatrical performers in the
Tampa. Alex Peña, Lucas Pasquier, Zach Hoppe, and Christian Peña represented Jesuit
well in monologue and solo musical events. Alex and Christian Peña both received a
rating of “Excellent” for their monologue performances, and Christian Peña also
received a rating of “Superior” for his solo musical piece, “Johanna” from the musical
“Sweeney Todd”. Christian’s performance was even considered for the honor of “Best
in Show” in the solo musical event. Because of his “Superior” rating, Christian is
eligible to represent Jesuit at the State competition in March. Congratulations Jesuit
Masque!
 On Friday night the hockey team defeated Plant 16-2. The offensive explosion was led
by Jason Kohlhepp’s 6 point night as he recorded 4 goals and 2 assists. Brett Gajewski
and Nino Lopez each recorded hat tricks as well. Ryan Tuccio, Tom Malachowski,
Cameron Alexander, Kyle Repar and Kyler Waldron also scored goals. The Tigers play
again this Friday in Ellenton against Sarasota at 6:00. Congrats Tiger Hockey!
