The Irish Setter Club of Greater Richmond reserves the right to substitute trophies of like or greater
value for any of the above-mentioned trophies.
AWARDS OF MERIT
The Irish Setter Club of Greater Richmond will offer Award(s) of Merit to all dogs
competing in Best of Breed Competition (excluding the Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex,
Select Dog and Select Bitch) for deserved recognition of quality breed characteristics to be
awarded at the officiating judge’s discretion. A special Rosette will be presented to the
Award of Merit recipient(s). A maximum of 2 Rosettes will be awarded
ENTRIES CANNOT BE ACCEPTED, SUBSTITUTED OR CANCELED AFTER
6 PM, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2014 except as provided for in Chapter 11, section 6
of the Dog Show Rules. All entries are to be mailed or hand delivered WITH FEES to John
Savory, 4132 Stony Point Road, Keswick, VA 22947. If using overnight mail, please
indicate that no signature will be required for acceptance of delivery. Telephone, telegraph,
and unsigned entries cannot be accepted. No entry shall be made and no entry will be
accepted which specifies any conditions to its acceptance. Entries not on the official AKC
entry form and photocopies of entry forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse
side of the Official AKC Entry Form are INVALID. ONLINE ENTRIES will be accepted
until 6 PM, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 using the online entry system on the Irish Setter
Club of Greater Richmond website www.iscgr.com. There will be no extra charge for online
entries.
A $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee & a .50 Recording fee will be required for each dog entered
at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial, or Tracking Test. These fees are
to be collected by the show giving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is
entered in more than one class at the show, the Recording Fee is collected on
the first entry only. (AKC Dog Show Rules, Chapter 11, Section 6.)
Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians’ recommendation to assure their dogs are free of
internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate
vaccinations.
ENTRY FEES SHALL NOT BE REFUNDED in the event that a dog is absent,
disqualified, excused by the veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action
of the Show Committee. If, because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the
control of the management, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of
entry money shall be made.
This club assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given by
an exhibitor on the entry form. Exhibitors are advised to print or type all unusual words
when filling out entry forms. This club assumes no responsibility for a dog being entered by
its owner in a class for which it is ineligible to compete, whoever may make such errors, and
no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors.
Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible
for the presence of their dog in judging ring at the proper time.
All dogs present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged
or when in the exercising ring.
All dogs should arrive at least 30 minutes before judging time. Consult judging program for
time of judging.
The Irish Setter Club of Greater Richmond assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage,
or injury sustained by exhibitors, owners, or to their dogs or property, and further assume no
responsibility for injury to children not under control of their parents or guardians.
SHOW HOURS: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2014, 7 AM TO 7 PM (approx.)
EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Dogs need be present only at scheduled time of judging
and may leave immediately thereafter unless required for further judging. Please see judging
program for exact times.

From North: I95 South to I-295 North (Exit 84B Charlottesville). Take the Woodman Road
South Exit (Exit 45B). Go right off exit ramp and proceed to stop light. Turn right at light
onto Mountain Road. Follow this road for two miles to Crump Park on the right.
From South: 1-95 North to I-295 North (Exit 84B/Charlottesville). Take the Woodman
Road South Exit (Exit 45B). Continue to Park as directed above.
From East: I-64 West (towards Richmond) to I-295 North (Exit 200/Washington). Take
Woodman Road South Exit (Exit 45B). Continue to Park as directed above.
From West: I-64 East (towards Richmond) to I-295 South (Exit 177 Washington/Norfolk).
Take Route 33 East, Richmond (Exit 49B) off I 295. Follow off the exit ramp to the right to
the first traffic light. Turn left at the light onto Mountain Road. Follow Mountain Road for
two miles to the Crump Park Entrance on the left.

the “Obedience Regulations” have been made available to me (us) and that I am (we are) familiar with their contents.I
(we) agree to hold the AKC and any AKC appoved Judge harmless from any legal cliam resulting from said AKC judge’s
action under the Rules, Regulations and Guidelines. I (we) agree that the club holding this show or obedience trial has the
right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of these
entry and of the holding of the show or obedience trial and the opportunity to have a dog judged and to win prize money ,

show secretary and the owner or lessor of the premises and any employees of the aforementioned parties, harmless from
any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person of thing by the

INSTRUCTIONS
1. (Vareity) if you entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the
particular variety you are entering i.e. Cocker Spaniel (solid black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding
13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.) Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Bull Terriers (colored, white),
Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles,
Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard), Collies (rough, smooth.)
2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are
champions of record and dogs, which, according to their owners records, have completed the requirements
for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed champions
in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days form the date of the show where the dog
completed the requirements for a championship.
3. (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the dog show cladd in which you are
entering your dog is divided, then , in addition to designating the class, specify the the particular division
of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e. age division, color division, weight division.
4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned the dog at the time entries for a show
closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new
owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner
has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form
whether transfer application has been mailed to AKC (For complete rule refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)

personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned
harmless from any claim for loss of this dog by disappearance, theft, damage, or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused
by negligence of the club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other
cause or causes.
I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnity and save the aforementioned parties harmless
from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by the law upon any of the
aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained
by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in
consequence of my (our) participation in this show or obedience trial, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to
property may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may alleged to have been caused by
negligence ot the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents or any other persons.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. (Vareity) if you entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the
particular variety you are entering i.e. Cocker Spaniel (solid black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding
13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.) Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Bull Terriers (colored, white),
Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles,
Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard), Collies (rough, smooth.)
2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are
champions of record and dogs, which, according to their owners records, have completed the requirements
for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed champions
in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days form the date of the show where the dog
completed the requirements for a championship.
3. (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the dog show cladd in which you are
entering your dog is divided, then , in addition to designating the class, specify the the particular division
of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e. age division, color division, weight division.
4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned the dog at the time entries for a show
closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new
owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner
has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form
whether transfer application has been mailed to AKC (For complete rule refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)
