Welcome RFID i Danmark 2015 Conference Increased efficiency and competitiveness through tracking and tracing Implementation of tracking and tracing technologies – typically by the use of radio waves – have already increased efficiency and competitiveness for a number of companies, in Denmark and around the world. But, most companies – private as well as public – haven’t even started yet. At the annual RFID i Danmark conference, a number of leading Danish and international companies will share their experiences; 1 Why did they implement tracking and tracing technology? 2 Have significant advantages been achieved? 3 How could they justify the initial investment? 4 What Lessons learned during the implementation of tracking and tracing? 5 What to do different, if they were to start from scratch again? 6 Future plans with more tracking and tracing? You can meet representatives from companies using RFID in their production, logistics, retail business, service maintenance history, localisation of employees and assets – along with representatives from both manufactur- ers of RFID equipment and tags as well as providers of RFID based solutions. They will share with you their experiences on how they use RFID to optimize processes and create business value in their particular company. We will have high level visionary key note presentations in plenum and we will again this year go into smaller groups in parallel tracks. This year we will have a track with use cases and in parallel we will have two WORKSHOPS. The focus of the use cases will not be on the technologies, but rather on how companies achieve advantages through the use of the technologies. This deployment follows a six-month pilot that boosted sales of men’s shirts and suits by double digits. During the pilot (which consisted of tagging men’s shirts and suits, and using a handheld reader to conduct inventory counts on the sales floor), the system not only provided 98 to 99 percent inventory accuracy, but also reduced the amount of labour employees spent performing manual inventory checks, thereby enabling more frequent checks. 15.50-16.20 What is next? by Awareness Track physical behavior and use Intelligent On-Site Marketing on “Point of Interest” by combining Apps, Wifi, Beacons and mCRM 16.20-16.30 Wrap-up and Closing Remarks by Henrik B. Efficiency increase by RFID in tool-making and tool-management by Yilmaz Benzer, Sales Manager Neosid Pemetzrieder GmbH & Co.KG In tool-making and tool-management it is required to identify each individual component whenever a tool is moved, installed or maintained. Identification is usually enabled by code engraved or printed on a surface or by an attached ID plate. This kind of identification, as well as paper instructions, is prone to mechanical defects and mistakes due to its manual read-out. A RFID system provides a machine-readable identification of tools and components. With all tool data and instructions stored centrally and interaction with ERP software, the system enhances efficiency and reduces mistakes by relieving workers. It enables automatic documentation and represents the basis for an automated toolproduction and –management. Real Time Lorry Inventory on the Road by Geir Vevle, HRAFN - proof of delivery - proof automatic goods receival - proof of pickup New Danish RFID case in manufacturing – Hilding Anders by Michael Holm Pedersen, Production Manager at Hilding Anders Denmark In the continuous improvement of automation and introduction of a new MES solution in Denmark, Hilding Anders realized that an advanced RFID platform was necessary to feed machines and IT-systems with live data. RFID improves the flexibility of the production, automates processes, reduces the risk for potential errors and delivers live data to the management about production flow. Lunch and Exhibition 13.40-14.00 Welcome to the 21st century’s cellar – The ultimate wine partner by Mathieu Nidegger, Co-Founder of La Cave Vivante La Cave Vivante offers a comprehensive and innovative approach to wine cellar management for both private and professional users. Our objective is to offer an automated just-in-time cellar management system that minimizes the financial investment of the user while simplifying the management of his cellar. No need to keep a wine cellar book, the stock is automatically updated. 14.05-14.25 Garment management at the Hospital by Lasse Cederquist, 2trace – Hygiene quality and powerful management tools 14.30-14.50 RFID projects in Italy by Luca Nardini, CAEN RFID Sales Manager CAEN RFID is the leading manufacturer of UHF RFID devices in Italy since 2002. Many End Users around the world are using CAEN RFID technology for different applications like Fashion & Retail, Waste Management, Access Control, Logistics and Industrial Manufacturing. Hence, CAEN RFID have a good solid position to present the Italian UHF RFID scenario providing an overview of interesting and huge installations developed by its customers. The agenda is subject to alterations. GS1s standard for RFID hedder Electronic Product Code (EPC).
