Lovelock—has probably been overworked,
but that’s not to say the planet can't behave
like a living thing, and these days, it's a living
thing fighting a fever.

GLOBAL WARMING?
IS AL GORE RIGHT?
If we take the Bible literally, earth will get so hot that
it will all burn up,
BUT,
that is at the very least 1007 years from today
[more later]!
So Al Gore is a bit right, but his timing is more than
1000 years off, and it will not be a gradual process,
IT WILL BE A FLASH.
• Al Gore assumes a poorly designed earth
which responds to changes by making them
worse; when there is much true science that
supports the idea that earth has many built in
corrective responses, especially in
relationship to our sun and seas, which no
effort of man can alter or improve.

• ONE of the world's foremost meteorologists has
called the theory that helped Al Gore share the
Nobel Peace Prize "ridiculous" and the product of
"people who don't understand how the atmosphere
works“.
• Dr William Gray, a pioneer in the science of
seasonal hurricane forecasts told a packed lecture
hall at the University of North Carolina that humans
were not responsible for the warming of the earth.

• Dr. Gray’s comments came on the same day
that the Nobel committee honored Mr. Gore for
his work in advertising and promoting the
hypothesis that there is a link between human
activity and global warming.
• "We're brainwashing our children," said Dr
Gray, 78, a long-time professor at Colorado
State University.
• "They're going to the Gore movie [An
Inconvenient Truth] and being fed all this. It's

• "The human impact on the atmosphere is simply
too small to have a major effect on global
temperatures,” Dr. Gray said.
• He said his beliefs had made him an outsider in
popular science.
• "It bothers me that my fellow scientists are not
speaking out against something they know is
wrong," he said. "But they also know that they'd
never get any grants if they spoke out. I don't care
about grants."

• “You wouldn’t know it from Al Gore’s An
Inconvenient Truth, but there are many upsides to
global warming:…” says Dr. Fred Singer, Professor
Emeritus of Environmental Studies, University of Virginia,

professor at George Mason University, president of the
Science and Environmental Policy Project; Ph.D. in Physics
from Princeton University; founding dean of the School of

Satellite Service; past vice-chairman of the U.S. National
Advisory Committee on Oceans and Atmosphere.
• Dr. Fred Singer is one of the most qualified
environmental scientists in the world, and he
is not at all concerned with the present liberal
and celebrity faddishness that we are about to
be destroyed by human-generated global
warming.
• Dr. Singer says: “In the past few years there
has been increasing concern about global
climate change on the part of the media,
politicians, and the public. It has been
stimulated by the idea that human activities
may influence global climate adversely and
• that therefore corrective action is required on the
part of governments. Recent evidence suggests
that this concern is misplaced. Human activities
are not influencing the global climate in
perceptible ways. Climate will continue to change,
as it always has in the past, warming and cooling
on different time scales and for different reasons,
regardless of human action. I would also argue
that—should it occur—a modest warming would
be on the whole beneficial.

• “This is not to say that we don’t face a serious
problem. But the problem is political [Is Al Gore a
lifetime politician or a credentialed PhD scientist?].
• Because of the mistaken idea that governments can
and must do something about climate, pressures
are building that have the potential of distorting
energy policies in a way that will severely damage
national economies, decrease standards of living,
and increase poverty. This misdirection of resources
will adversely affect human health and welfare in
in industrialized nations, and even more in developing
nations. Thus it could well lead to increased social
tensions within nations and conflict between them.
If not for this economic and political damage, one
might consider the present concern about climate
change nothing more than just another
environmentalist fad, like the Alar apple scare or
the global cooling fears of the 1970s. Given that so
much is at stake, however, it is essential that people

Dr. Patterson continues:
• In some fields the science is indeed "settled."
For example, plate tectonics, once highly
controversial, is now so well-established that
we rarely see papers on the subject at all. But
the science of global climate change is still in
its infancy, with many thousands of papers
published every year.
• In a 2003 poll conducted by German environmental
researchers Dennis Bray and Hans von Storch, twothirds of more than 530 climate scientists from 27
countries surveyed did not believe that "the current
state of scientific knowledge is developed well
enough to allow for a reasonable assessment of the
effects of greenhouse gases." About half of those
polled stated that the science of climate change was
not sufficiently settled to pass the issue over to
policymakers at all.
• “Solar scientists predict that, by 2020, the sun
will be starting into its weakest Schwabe solar
cycle of the past two centuries, likely leading
to unusually cool conditions on Earth.”

11-year cycle, as did the Little Ice Age, should be a
priority for governments. It is global cooling, not
warming, that is the major climate threat to the

take very little cooling to destroy much of our food
crops, while a warming would only require that we
adopt farming techniques practiced to the south of
us.”

• “Meantime, we need to continue research
into this, the most complex field of science
ever tackled, and immediately halt wasted
expenditures on the King Canute-like task of
"stopping climate change."
• Dr. Tim Patterson is Professor of Geology at Carleton
University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He received
both a B.Sc. in Biology (1980) and a B.A. in Geology
(1983) from Dalhousie University, Halifax, N.S. and a
Ph.D. in Geology from the University of California at Los
Angeles (UCLA) in 1986. After brief stints at the
University of Southern California and University of
California at Berkeley he joined Carleton University in
1988 as an Assistant Professor. He was promoted to Full

do so in the future. How large these future
changes will be, and where and how rapidly
they will occur we do not know.

unprecedented warming have been undermined by
research that shows the earth was warmer in the
Middle Ages” (800-1300 A.D.)
• “The review by a Harvard University team…proves
that the world had a medieval warm period
between the 9th and 14th centuries with world
temperatures significantly higher than today.”
• The hottest temperatures recorded in the
U.S.A. were in the 1930’s peaking in 1934 and
were hotter than the “global warming mantra”
of Gore and the “Greens” that 1998 and

• Al Gore likes to point out that the Upsala glacier of
Patagonia is retreating.
• But “Just fifty kilometers away from Upsala is
Moreno, which is growing, and thereby calving.
Claims of Moreno’s retreat are typically danced
around without brazenly lying about it “melting,”
and are pure fabrication and illustrative of the
lengths to which environmentalists go to
dishonestly frighten people.” Christopher Horner, The Politically

• Horner continues: Other much larger glaciers
nearby are advancing without the pleasure of
angst-ridden eco-tourists and pencil-gnawing
journalists. In fact, “While in the same region in
Patagonia, either in the Argentinean or Chilean
sides, there are small glaciers on retreat, there are
other medium sized glaciers in stable condition, and
really big glaciers growing at record speed and

• For example, South America’s largest glacier, Pio XI,
is growing very quickly. The greens and media just
missed it, that’s all, another case of not seeing the

Does earth have a history of environmental and
ecological disasters?
How did earth begin?
According the Bible, the God of the Bible created
everything in six days and it was “very good.”
(Genesis 1:31)
It was also a warm climate with mild seasons
(Adam and Eve were both naked in the Garden of
Eden=warm and no clothing needed).
(Genesis 2:25)
ON THIS EARLY EARTH:
• It did not rain, “…for the LORD God had not caused
it to rain upon the earth,… 6 But there went up a
mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of
the ground.” (Genesis 2:5-6)
• Man and animal ate vegetation (Genesis 1:29, 30).
• There were mild seasons (Genesis 1:14)
• There was probably one land mass with 4 rivers
flowing out of the one river (Genesis 2:10-15).
• The earth was pole to pole greenhouse warm (giant
trees and palm tree fossils in Alaska, broad leaf
ferns in the Antarctica, warm temp animals frozen
solid in New Siberian Islands, but today willows 1”).
THE FIRST ENVIRONMENTAL DISASTER
• Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit (The Fall) and
the earth and everything in it was cursed.
• …cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt
thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also
and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou
shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy
face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the
ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou
art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Gen. 3:17b-19

THE FIRST MENTION OF ICE AND SNOW

RECORDED MAJOR DROUGHT
An Environmental Disaster
And there was a famine in the land: and Abram
went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the
famine was grievous in the land (Genesis 12:10).
• The drought was so intense and prolonged that
Abraham was forced to move his family to Egypt to
find food and water.
Earlier I mentioned that at least 1007
years are left to earth history before
God burns it all up. How can such a
statement be made?
Starting today more than 1000 years
remain in earth history!
• The Premillennial Escatological theological position
believes that the Creator Himself, the Lord Jesus
Christ, (see in the Bible John 1; Colossians 1;
Hebrews 1) will leave His throne in heaven to come
to rule on earth from Jerusalem in the last days
before He destroys earth and all it contains by fire.
While He reigns the curse will be removed and the
earth will bring forth its increase as not seen since
the days of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

• During this unique 1000 year reign of Creator Jesus
(John 1; Colossians 1; Hebrews 1) Who alone is the
Messiah and Savior of mankind (Isaiah 53; Psalm
22; John 3; Romans 3:23-24, 6:23, 5:8; 10:9-13; 1
John 5:10-13; Ephesians 2:8-10), the curse caused
by the sin of Adam which brought disease, decay
and death to planet earth (Romans 5:12, 1
Corinthians 15:20-22) will be removed (Acts 3:1821). The fear between man and beast initiated in
Genesis 9:1-5 will be removed and life-spans greatly
increased for man and beast.

accurately, non-alarmists—are a hardy breed,
and their ranks include many respected
scientists, several dozen of which recently
argued in a letter to Canadian Prime Minister

• Strategy: Create a life-threatening global crisis such as
global warming.
• Advertise the crisis repeatedly. (Gore in schools,etc.)
• Gain a critical mass of people. (using media)
• Pass laws that restrict industry and freedom.
• Increase central government control and taxes.
• Confiscate private property
• Abolish the free-market economic system.
• Establish a two class civilization:
• The Elites
• And everyone else (slaves with no rights?).

• Governments will not solve global warming,
• But they will find a way to tax it,
• And they will use it to increase their power

whipped the world into a global warming
frenzy with his doomsday documentary, “An
Inconvenient Truth.”
3 - What Hurricane Season? The National
Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s
prediction for the 2006 hurricane season was
about as wrong as wrong can be.
• Global warming alarmism is the bread and butter of
a host of special interests. The perception that
global warming is something to be “very worried”
about is the sine qua non of billions of dollars in
annual government contracts to researchers and
universities, and millions of dollars in annual direct
mail contributions to eco-activist groups. Insurance
companies like Swiss Re profit from spreading
alarm, because it gives them a convenient pretext

AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH:
• “Admittedly the weather is warming; some
scientists tell us it has increased 0.7 or 0.8 degrees

from the outrageously dogmatic twenty inches Al
Gore is predicting in his scientifically flawed movie
that is being shown all over America to our
innocent school children. The reason is simple: the
public schools are controlled by leftists— “worldly

Al Gore testified before the US Senate
• Under the normal rules, a witness's statement before a
congressional committee is limited to 15 minutes, and a
written version must be submitted at least 48 hours before
the hearing. Gore demanded 30 minutes and was given it,
requested permission to submit his written testimony only 24
hours before the hearing and was granted it, and then failed
to meet that deadline. His written testimony did not reach
the Democrat staff members of the House Energy and
Commerce Committee until about 1 a.m. Wednesday, just 9
hours before the hearing--and Republican staff did not
receive their copies until 7 a.m., six hours later than the
Democrats and just 3 hours before the hearing. Committee
members and their staffs normally review written statements
in advance in order to prepare for questioning.
• Media reports showcased Gore's testimony. Citizens
who depended on the media would have had a difficult
time detecting a very inconvenient truth for Gore: His
oral testimony, though filled with claims of impending
catastrophe and recommendations for responses the
benefits of which he boasted would outweigh the costs,
was woefully short on specific details of scientific and
economic data, documentation, and argumentation.

most important and frightening claims to be false
and indeed irresponsible. His written testimony
reads, to put it bluntly, as if written by a Ph.D.'d
specialist in the field (which he is) who diligently
dug beneath headlines to solid information.

are in reality due to cyclical changes in tilt of
the earth's rotational axis and path of revolution

"Milankovitch cycles"). We are not going to move
the earth's axis or rotational path by changing to a
different type of light bulb. The notion that we
can is nothing more than Satan's idea "I will be like
the most high" (Isa 14:14).

One worldview that is dominant in radical
environmentalist and global warming circles is
Postmodernism.
Postmodernists are evolutionists who worship the
creature rather than the Creator (Romans 1:25).
The university campuses of the world are full of
postmodernist professors.
POSTMODERNISTS CLAIM:
• There are no “truths” which apply to all of us.
• There are no absolute moral standards.
• There are no absolute ethical concerns.
• There is no God.

• Most Postmodernist thinkers are/were disillusioned
Marxists.

• Disillusioned Marxists became Postmodernists and
now gain strength through Multiculturalism and its
stepchild, Political Correctness, which is rightly
labeled, “Cultural Marxism”.
• Marx and Lenin taught that, given the chance,
European workers would overthrow capitalist
governments and replace them with communism.
• But after the Russian revolution of 1917 the
Western European workers did not support the
Communist revolution or ideas.
• Why not?
• Christianity and its moral and ethical absolutes was
the roadblock to the expansion of Marxism.
• This roadblock was noticed by two Marxist theorists
in 1919: Italian, Antonio Gramsci and Hungarian,
Georg Lukacs.
• These two men decided that the spread of
Communism could only be accomplished if Western
Christian culture was destroyed.
• So Lukacs introduced sex education into the public
schools of Hungary,1919, believing that if children
knew more about sex their lust for it would
overpower their Christian morals!
• So Gramsci and Lukacs laid the groundwork to
change communism from economic terms
(ownership of private property is evil) into cultural
terms. (tolerance, sex ed, drug ed, change, etc.)
• “Change”=depart from old, intolerant ways.
• Then in 1923 at Frankfurt University in Germany the
Institute for Social Research was established=The
Frankfurt School.
• The Frankfurt School moved to New York City in
1933 when Hitler came to power.
• Theorists like Wilhelm Reich, Eric Fromm, Max
Horkheimer, Herbert Marcuse, etc.
• The Frankfurt School invented “Critical Theory”
which had the goal of demonizing all traditional
institutions such as family, fatherhood, patriotism,
Bible-believing churches, traditions, etc.
• The Frankfurt School published Studies in Prejudice
which taught that anyone who believes in
traditional Western Christian culture is prejudiced, a
“racist” or “sexist” or “fascist” or is mentally
unstable.
• Mixing Freud with Marx, they perfected the
technique of psychological conditioning—thus, for
example, TV shows abortion to be normal behavior.
• TV shows Christians to be crazy, intolerant, bigoted,
judgmental fools.
• Herbert Marcuse, working with Hollywood friends,
became a leading “evangelist” of Cultural Marxism
(Political Correctness) especially on the university
campuses of USA.
• “In his book Eros and Civilization, he argued that by
freeing sex from any restraints, we could elevate the
pleasure principle over the reality principle and
create a society with no work, only play (Marcuse
coined the phrase, “Make love, not war”). Marcuse
also argued for what he called “liberating
tolerance,” which he defined as tolerance for all
ideas coming from the Left and intolerance for any
ideas coming from the
• right. In the late 1960’s Marcuse became the chief
“guru” of the New Left, and he injected the cultural
Marxism of the Frankfurt School into the baby
boom generation, to the point where it is now
America’s state ideology.
• The next conservatism should unmask multiculturalism and Political Correctness and tell the
American people what they really are: cultural
Marxism. Its goal remains that Lukacs and Gramsci
set in 1919: destroying Western culture and the

that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh
his arm, and whose heart departeth
from the LORD.
• God created all things in heaven and earth,
they all belong to God, He is head over all of
it, and does whatever He pleases with it.

• Psalm 115:3: “But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.”
A single volcano spews more "greenhouse
gasses" into the atmosphere than mankind
has produced since the industrial
revolution. That level of volcanic pollution,
over which man has no control whatsoever,
can be compared to the immensity of our sin,
inherited from Adam (Isaiah 64:6), which we
can by no means reverse or resolve on our
own.

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our
righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all
do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the
wind, have taken us away.
With this backdrop in mind, just as it is impossible
to reverse the pollution produced by a volcano
and its impact on any so-called "global warming"
by switching to a new type of light bulb, so it is
impossible to earn our way into heaven by any
works of righteousness which we have done,
however many or sincere
(Titus 3:4-7; Ephesians 2:8-10).

But after that the kindness and love of God our

according to his mercy he saved us, by the
washing of regeneration, and renewing of the
