CHANGE FINANCE
TO FINANCE CHANGE
The financial sector has pursued different strategies towards meeting these demands within
the financial sector going from impact investment, divestments strategies, active ownership
strategies, and engagement strategies to business as usual.
During the Financial Crisis a call for fundamental changes of the financial sector was loudly
spoken. The public demanded more responsibility from banks and investors – and not only
financial responsibility, but also social responsibility. Also global challenges such as climate
change have called upon an active approach
and co-responsibility from the financial sector.
What are the experiences and results of these
strategies and how will the financial sector
develop in the future?

a vision of a sustainable society.
