Audi TDI engines: high torque output over the entire engine speed range –
with constant power build-up. They are renowned for being fuelefficient and for reducing emissions. The 1.4 TDI ultra, for example,
has a power output of 66 kW, a top speed of 182 km/h and accelerates
from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.4 seconds in the Audi A1 or in 11.6 seconds
in the Audi A1 Sportback.

Audi music interface
Portable media players¹ such as Apple iPod/iPhone
(music functionality), USB storage media and MP3
players may be connected to the vehicle. Located in
the glove compartment; operation via MMI or radio
control or the multifunction sport leather steering
wheel (if ordered). Part of the connectivity package,
navigation package and MMI navigation plus. Special
Audi Genuine Accessories adapter cables for connecting
portable media players or USB storage media are
required. An adapter cable suitable for the respective
device can be selected in addition. Additional adapter

Audi connect including car phone
convenient connection of your vehicle to the internet for
the use of Audi connect via an integrated data module.
There is a reader for your SIM card in the surround of the
MMI navigation plus.
Audi music interface online¹, ²
extends the Audi music interface by the following
functions: internet radio stations and podcasts can
be recorded via your Wi-Fi home network and played
in the vehicle. Internet radio stations can be listened
to live in the vehicle. The Audi music interface online
makes it possible to create a Wi-Fi hotspot in the
vehicle (by using a USB broadband modem).

The traffic information online service³ requires initial
activation in the vehicle. From that point onwards,
this service is subject to a 36-month usage limit
(in as far as activation takes place within 6 months
of vehicle delivery; otherwise corresponding shortening
of the usage rights). The city events service and further
services are available to the customer for 12 months.

Audi eInfo
everything at a glance – have selected information for
vehicle control displayed directly on your smartphone
with Audi connect. Audi eInfo uses the camera built
into the smartphone to detect objects in the vehicle:
just place the phone in the bracket behind the steering
wheel, start the app and focus the camera on different
controls in the driver area. If the element is recognised,
operating instructions related to the function can be
displayed on request. The Audi eInfo for the Audi A1 and
Audi A1 Sportback: specific information – clear, fast
and without leafing through anything!
Secondary collision brake assist⁶
Following an accident, uncontrolled continued vehicle
motion is prevented in certain situations. In these cases
secondary collisions can be avoided.
Hill hold assist⁶
makes it more convenient to drive away on almost
any gradient thanks to the braking intervention. After
the foot brake has been pressed for a while with the
vehicle stationary, the brake pressure that is built up is
maintained for a short time after the brake is released.
Parking system, rear⁶
makes reverse parking easier by indicating acoustically
how far away the vehicle is from an object detected
behind the vehicle; measurement is by ultrasonic sensors
integrated discreetly in the bumper; active when reverse
gear is selected
Bluetooth interface
allows hands-free calls to be made in the vehicle
using the microphone and – depending on mobile
phone compatibility⁵ – Bluetooth audio streaming.
Bluetooth-capable mobile phones can be connected
to the vehicle via the interface.
Use of the services supported by Audi connect is
possible only with the optional MMI navigation plus
equipment and with Audi connect including car phone.
You also require a SIM card with data option – with car
phone a SIM card with phone and data option or a
Bluetooth-capable smartphone⁵ with remote SIM
Access Profile (rSAP). The services are available only
with an existing or separate mobile phone contract
and only within the range of the respective mobile
phone network. Additional costs may be incurred
when receiving data packets from the internet,
depending on the terms of your mobile phone
contract, particularly when used abroad. Because of
the high data volumes involved, a data flat rate is
strongly recommended.

Luggage compartment liner (not illustrated)
Custom-fit, washable and sturdy luggage compartment
protection. Edge protects the luggage compartment
floor better from leaked liquids. Also included factoryfitted in the A1 accessories interior package: luggage

The table shows the range of fuel efficiency, wet grip and exterior noise emission classes for the different tyre sizes
of the Audi A1, Audi A1 Sportback, Audi S1 and Audi S1 Sportback models.
² Unladen vehicle weight includes driver (75 kg) and fuel tank 90 % full, calculated in
accordance with the current version of Reg. (EU) 1230/2012. Optional equipment may
increase the car’s unladen weight and drag coefficient, whereupon the possible payload
limit and the top speed will be reduced accordingly.

or partly polished aluminium wheels must not be used in wintry road conditions. For
manufacturing reasons, the rim surface does not have sufficient corrosion protection for

Motorsport is a driving force behind the brand. For years
Audi has been among the champions in various racing
series, for instance the 24 Hours of Le Mans or the DTM
German Touring Car Masters. The values that are crucial
