Global IT, Sales, Service & eProducts
Global IT is the business area responsible for all IT within Vestas Wind Systems A/S. With
reference to the Group CFO, Global IT covers everything from business engagement and
requirements gathering to project implementations, infrastructure operations and service
integration between vendors and end user support.
From 1st of October Global IT will implement both a new operating model as well as a new
organizational structure. The Sales & Marketing team will belong to the area responsible
for all IT offerings related to Sales, Service & eProducts. The area holds a huge potential
in Vestas and the team will have end to end responsibility regarding Sales & Marketing
offerings and will work closely together with the business in order to maximize the value
from Global IT.
Responsibilities:
Vestas aim of growing faster than the market. As the lead of the sales IT offering team,
you and the team will be leading the implementation of solutions to enable key account
management, value engineering and selling as well as being opportunity originator using
SAP CRM C4C. As a first step you will take lead on implementing SAP CRM C4S for
account planning and driving solution simplification boosting user adoption. Also, you will
take lead on building a roadmap for sales configuration management, pricing and key
account management planning.
You act as an adviser to global sales management in Vestas, taking full responsibility for
delivering to our promises on projects and the operation of our services. You and your
team will be accountable for SAP CRM, sales quotation and sales document management,
driving business value through good user adoption of the offerings across the Vestas
Business.
Your will focus on the continuous development of IT offerings delivered to Sales &
Marketing including ownership of all daily offerings delivered to Sales & Marketing and
actions taken if break-downs occur.
The key responsibilities in short will be to:




Be the IT counterpart and accountable Sales & Marketing Business stakeholders.
Manage and translate knowledge of business community to IT lingo and demands
and vice versa.
Be accountable for co-strategizing with stakeholders and holder of stakeholder’s
portfolio (including project, change and offering portfolio).
Act as the full lifecycle accountable IT Offerings owner towards the business with
respect to value proposition, ease of use, performance products, new
opportunities/developments and maintainability. The IT Offerings comprises the ‘full
stack’ incl. underlying platforms and integrations.
Qualifications:
Qualifications and work experience:








Academic degree within Economics & Business Administration, Computer Science
or similar.
5-8 years of relevant work experience in similar position.
Knowledge on key Sales and Marketing processes.
High technical understanding of IT and IT processes.
Experience with methodologies in managing vendors in a multivendor service and
delivery environment .
English language at negotiation level – oral and written.
Excellent understanding of business needs and ability to translate requirements into
IT offerings.
Good financial understanding and IT knowledge.

Primary work location Aarhus, Denmark and some travel must be expected.
