Are you unemployed or under-employed? Are you looking
for a change? We have classes scheduled every month and
multiple companies that are recruiting from our student base.
Several of these companies will reimburse you for the cost of
your tuition. The next CDL class available at the Beloit
Campus will be Monday, November 17th and Tuesday,
November 18th, 2014. Classes will begin promptly at 8:00
am each day. Pre-enrollment, application and payment of
tuition and fees are due before beginning class. The two-day
class is designed to prepare students for “Commercial
Learners Permit” written test at a State of Kansas DMV.
Course includes classroom discussion, computer modules
and practice examinations. Simulation, pre-trip, basic skills
and drive examination preparation is included in the tuition
and will be scheduled on an individual basis; after the student
successfully acquires a Commercial Learners Permit from the
State of Kansas. The class will be held on the Beloit campus,
3033 U.S. Highway 24. Tuition and fees are $750.00 plus a
$50.00 non-refundable application fee for new students
(Includes tractor, trailer, fuel and drive test). Sessions will
start each day at 8:00 am on Monday, November 17th and
Tuesday, November 18th, 2014.

We had a smaller sale this week as many are waiting for next week’s
special calf sale. Calf prices remained very attractive, good weigh cows
were extremely higher and weigh bulls remained steady. Who would
have ever dreamed we would market cattle over $4.00 per pound two
weeks in a row? Get these calves to town before winter hits and
mother nature takes a few pounds away! We’ve had great weather but
don’t forget what time of year it is, things may change fast...any time
we could need ice scrapers and snow shovels!
