'This exhibition reveals th he superb crafftsmanship of Belleek Potteery, Hamm which has been Irelaand's pre‐emiinent ceramicc manufactoryy for almost 16 60 years,' Mr Edwards expllained. ory of Belleekk Pottery begins with the inheritance by Irish landown ner, John Caldw well Bloomfieeld (1823–189 97), of the Casstle The sto Caldwe ell estate at B Belleek in County Fermanaggh in 1849, at a time when Ireland was in n the grip of a disastrous po otato famine.
