You are automatically nominated by your Faculty You will receive further information about the grant and practical matters by email First, you will need to send in your pre-approval of courses In June/July the grants will be allocated AU AARHUS UNIVERSITET 2015-2016 ERASMUS GRANT (1) The size of the grants will depend on destination and length of stay Expected amount is EUR 200-250 (DKK 1.500-1.800) pr. 30 days All students going to the same destination will get the same amount (1 or 2 semesters) You may get an extra grant, if you participate in a language course EILC (Erasmus Intensive Language Course) does not exist anymore – but you can arrange one yourself AU AARHUS UNIVERSITET 2015-2016 ERASMUS GRANT (2) You will receice a Grant Agreement (contract) Please read the contract and the guide You need to sign and return the contract The grant will be transferred to your Nemkonto (in one, single payment) Tax free Save receipts from transportation, housing etc. In case you will be asked to document your expenses by SKAT AU AARHUS UNIVERSITET 2015-2016 LEARNING AGREEMENT (LA) As an Erasmus student you are required to fill in a Learning agreement. LA is a document similar to a pre-approval of courses. You, AU and the Partner University will need to sign the LA AU AARHUS UNIVERSITET 2015-2016 ONLINE LANGUAGE ASSESSMENT As an Erasmus student you are required to do an online language test (both before and after the studies abroad) There is no need to worry, you will not lose the grant (or the study placement), no matter what your result will be The test will be in Spanish, German, English, French, Italian, Dutch (depending on your language of instruction) Why? EU want to measure the improvement in linguistic skills AU AARHUS UNIVERSITET 2015-2016 HEALTH INSURANCE As an Erasmus student you are required to have health insurance The blue card (EU-sygesikringskort) can be ordered at www.borger.dk. The yellow card is no longer enough Great Britain: your passport and the blue card You will get access to medical treatment. You will have the same rights as the citizens in your host country. You are not covered by the blue card when going to Turkey AU AARHUS UNIVERSITET 2015-2016 DOCUMENTATION Within 30 days after the end of your studies, you will need to hand in: Final Learning Agreement Documentation for participating in a language course Transcript of records Evaluation (online) This documentation has nothing to do with transfer of credits (merit) AU AARHUS UNIVERSITET 2015-2016 SUMMARY Send a copy of pre-approval of courses to IC (You will receive a request) Sign and return the Erasmus Grant Agreement Learning agreement Do the online language test (before and after) Make sure you have health insurance Hand in documentation after ended studies abroad You will receive further information by email AU AARHUS UNIVERSITET 2015-2016 ?????
