We kick off another exciting season of
Charger Basketball and Cheerleading
on Friday, November 7th. Join us for
A LOT of fun, beginning at 5pm. And
the Cheerleaders invite you to a Chili
Supper and Dessert Auction on Charger
Night. More details will be sent home
later this week.
Congratulations to our Middle School, JV and
Varsity Volleyball teams on their great seasons!
We’re all proud of your hard work, and your good
conduct on the court.
Our Middle School Volleyball team took second place in the
PAAC Tourney, and our Varsity Volleyball team had a great
run in Sectionals, winning the first Sectional Volleyball game
in the history of Baptist Academy, and finishing runner-up in
the Irvington Invitational! Bravo, Lady Chargers!!!
It’s time for Operation Christmas
Child! Every year, we collect
shoeboxes full of items to help
children in need. Our goal is
send 300 boxes. More details,
and a list of items needed will be
sent home with each student.
For more ways you and your student(s) can help,
check out the following:

We need parents to help sort all of the items on
Monday, 11/10 at 6pm. We also need parents to
help students pack the boxes on Tuesday, 11/11 at
8am. If you can help with either (or both) please
see Mrs. Harris (our K4 Teacher).

Ugly Christmas Sweater/Santa Hat Day: All
students can pay $2 each for the privilege of
wearing an ugly Christmas sweater and/or Santa
Hat to school on Thursday, November 6th.
Athletic Update: We will celebrate all of our student
athletes at our Sports Banquet on Thursday, March 12,
2015 at 6pm in the Clinton O. Hale Youth Center.

Thanks to you, we were able to collect $313.70
in our last Box Top Drive! The next Box Top Drive
has already begun, and will continue through
December 15th. Let’s see how much more we
can raise this time!
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading begins soon! Evaluations will be held on Saturday, 11/15 and 12/6 from
10am-1pm in the gym. All players and Cheerleaders MUST attend an evaluation. For registration forms, or more
