System Requirements
Install the Device Packs on a server running Cisco Prime Infrastructure version 2.1.
Note: You cannot install this UBF on Cisco Prime Infrastructure version 2.0 or any earlier releases.

Device Packs Installation
You can install the Device Packs in one of two ways:
• From Cisco.com. See Installing the Device Packs from cisco.com.
• From a local storage. See Installing the Device Packs from Local Storage.
Installing the Device Packs from cisco.com

Log in to the Prime Infrastructure 2.1 server.
Choose Administration > Software Update.
Click Check for Updates.
Log in with your cisco.com credentials to check for updates directly from the Prime
Infrastructure server.
5. Select pi_2.1device_packs_6-49.ubf.
6. Click Install to install the Device Packs.
7. Restart the Cisco Prime Infrastructure server to complete the installation process.
Installing the Device Packs from Local Storage

Log in to Prime Infrastructure 2.1 server.
Choose Administration > Software Update.
Click Upload Update File.
Click Browse and locate the pi_2.1device_packs_6-49.ubf file.
Click Install to install the Device Packs.
Restart the Cisco Prime Infrastructure server to complete the installation process.
Note: You do not need to issue a restart immediately. However, the Device Packs will not work until
the Prime Infrastructure server is restarted.

Note: If you previously added a device that is newly supported in this Device Packs, you need to
delete the device from Prime Infrastructure and then add it again.
Caveats
Port Count and Port Summary information shows incorrect values for Nexus 3064, Nexus 6004,
ACE4710, ASR1k series, SB300 and Catalyst 6807 devices.
The Software Image Management feature is not supported for Nexus 3064, Nexus 6004, or Nexus 3548.
When the 2960X and 2960+ families of switches are set up in a stacking mode, the device family shows
up as “Cisco Catalyst 2960S.”
For the 7004 nexus device, the device family shows up as “Cisco Nexus 9500 Switch.”
Reboot not happening for Cisco SG220, SG500, SG300 and MS200X device after image got distributed.
