Gammel tromle med s-rør
Ny tromle uden s-rør
Serie 500 er et lavsikkerhedsprodukt som kun anbefales til aflåsning af skabe, postkasser og lignende.
På grund af produktets ringe sikkerhed er det besluttet, at s-rør ikke mere monteres på 5-stift tromler til profilcylindre. Tromler uden s-rør er Ø13 mm, hvor de gamle tromler med s-rør var Ø14,2 mm.
For at undgå forveksling mellem nye og gamle profilcylindre har de nye profilcylindre fået nye typenumre:

Medbringere, kamstykker, knoptromler og forlængningsdele er de samme typer, som til dp, Combi og Serie 600
profilcylindre.
Udskiftning
Nye og gamle cylindre kan indgå i samme låsesystem.
Anvend skema 1.1 på side 3 til stiftning af cylindre i system.
Anvend skema 1.2 på side 3 til stiftning af cylindre uden system.
Gamle komponenter
Gamle komponenter udgår efterhånden som beholdningerne opbruges.
