Sonoma State, CCSF, private Judo schools,
etc. Nicholas Griffin, garnered a Gold Medal
(His mother, Connie, a Solano College employee, is also enrolled in the Beginning Judo
class; Shane Matthew Wright (aspirations of
becoming a CHP Officer) placed second for a
Silver Medal and Jason Raynor, for a Bronze
third place finish...for a 100% showing.
Gamers' Club meets on Fridays from 1pm - 3pm in 1421 or 1427.
We're open to all forms of Gaming: Console, PC, Trading Cards, Tabletop, you
name it! We also have academic ties to Mechatronics and Computer Science!

Tuberculin (TB) Skin Testing is offered by appointment, Mondays & Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. to noon,
Monday & Tuesday, 4:00-5:00 p.m. You must return in
48-72 hours post test to have the Tuberculin skin test read
and receive your record of testing.
Health Screening exams are available at the Student
Health Center for Children’s Program students. Drop-in
or make an appointment for your Health Screening.
Screenings/testing: Health , diabetic, vision, hearing
and urine screenings, are free to students.
Medications: Free over-the-counter medications for
common conditions are available free to students at the
Student Health Center. Medications include: generic
choices of decongestants, pain medications, cough
suppressants, decongestants, lubricating eye drops, burn
gel, & more.
FREE Condoms: Includes X-large, latex-free &
female condoms
Lactation Station: Privacy for breastfeeding students to breastfeed their babies or pump
milk. Stop by and we’ll find a comfortable
place for you.
Every year, on the 3rd Thurs. of Nov.,
smokers take part in the American Cancer
Society Great American Smokeout. They
may use the date to make a plan to quit, or
plan in advance and then quit smoking that
day. Quitting is hard. Increase your chances of success with
help. The American Cancer Society can tell you about the steps
you can take to quit smoking and provide quit-smoking
programs, resources and support that can increase your chances

Do You Need a Typing Certificate for Job or Class?
There is no cost for the test. Bring some form of photo ID.
You do not need to be enrolled at Solano College to take the
typing test. If you pass the typing test, you receive a
certificate immediately.

Our peer tutoring services are provided to Solano College
students seeking to increase their understanding of
specific course material or to improve their general
learning skills. The Tutoring Center is open to all
students enrolled in the course for which assistance is
requested. Sessions are 1 hour each by appointment. A
Tutor Request form must be turned in before
appointments are set for the semester.
