APEDA’s Participation in Gulfood Dubai, UAE – 8-12 February 2015 Dear Sir/Madam, As you are aware, Gulfood Dubai, UAE is considered to one of the most premier events for food products. This year the event will be held at Dubai from 8-12 February 2015 Like previous occasions this time also APEDA has decided to participate in this event in Indian pavilion. India has been allotted space in Zabeel pavilion. All the exporters of scheduled products of APEDA except ingredients as the fair organizers have decided to focus the show only on finished and packaged food products are hereby invited to participate in the same alongwith APEDA. However, considering that we have limited space available, it has been decided that representation of different sectors may be made. Accordingly few stalls of 5/10 sq. mtrs. each have been earmarked for the following sectors:1. 2. 3. 4. Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Processed Foods including pickles, chutneys, jams, ready to eat products, confectionary etc Livestock products including honey, dairy and meat and poultry products Cereals and Cereal products Limited stalls of 5/10 Sqms. each per exporter will be available for allocation. Charges for the fully constructed and furnished stall of 5 sqm. will be of Rs.1,30,000/- (Rupees one lakh thirty thousand only) and 10 sqm. will be Rs.2,30,000/- (Rupees two lakh thirty thousand only). Exporters who have shown their willingness to participate in the event earlier are requested to forward their request again mentioning the category of products in which they would like to apply. It may please be noted that each participant can apply only in one of the categories mentioned above. In case number of applications for one particular sector is more than space reserved, allotment of space shall be by draw of lots for that sector. Please note that payment of Rs.1,30,000/- or Rs.2,30,000/- as the case may be made by means of DD only favouring APEDA payable at New Delhi only after receiving confirmation from APEDA as mere submission of above information does not ensure the availability of space to the participants. The participants will have to make their own arrangements for dispatch and clearance of their product samples and other publicity material Regarding allotment of space decision of Chairman APEDA shall be final.
