Admission Policy for PGPWE 2015-17
This document summarizes the approach of IIM Raipur in preparing the admission List for its
4 t h PGPWE Batch (2015-17). IIM Raipur reserves the right to modify any part of this document
including the various criteria and cut offs mentioned at any time till the actual admission process for
the batch is completed.
PGPWE
The Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executive (PGPWE) is an intensive one
and a half year post graduate program in management, especially designed for mid/senior level
professionals.
Eligibility
The candidate must have:



A Bachelor's Degree with minimum aggregate marks of 50% for general; 47% for NC-OBC;
45% for SC/ST/DAP or its equivalent in any discipline duly recognized by UGC/AIU.
Minimum 5 years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation. The
programme is open to all nationalities.
Age should not be more than 50 years as on June 1, 2015.
How to Apply?
Candidates seeking admission to the PGPWE programme of IIM Raipur (2015-17 batch) either have to
submit their CAT score or GMAT score. Those who do not have any of these scores have to appear for
the Business Aptitude Test (BAT) organized by IIM Raipur. Candidates applying through CAT have to
mention their CAT Registration number in the PGPWE Application form. Accordingly, candidates
applying through GMAT have to submit their GMAT score along with the PGPWE Application form.
The candidates who wish to apply through BAT will have to mention the same in the application form.
They will be sent an official intimation regarding the venue and other details. The application form and
information brochure of PGPWE can be downloaded from our website www.iimraipur.ac.in.
Application Fee
Submit completed application form along with a Demand Draft of Rs.1000 in favor of Indian Institute of
Management Raipur payable at Raipur. There is no application fee for SC/ST/NC-OBC/DAP applicants
who submit an attested copy of SC/ST/NC-OBC/DAP certificate. For any query, please contact: Email:

Reservation
Reservation for eligible categories will be as per Government of India rules applicable for PGPWE
programme at the time of admission.
Admission Process
1. Test (CAT/GMAT/BAT) Score
A valid CAT (last 2 years) score OR a GMAT (last 2 years) score OR scores from the
Business Aptitude Test (BAT) to be conducted by IIM Raipur.
The BAT will be conducted at IIM Raipur only. The BAT will be in the pattern of CAT.
2. Shortlist Applications for BAT/PI Process
Admission Committee of IIM Raipur will decide the number of candidates to be called for
BAT/PI process on the basis of applications received and short listed merit list prepared

for each category. However, if the actual number of shortlisted candidates were found to
be less (more) than the required number of candidates to be called for BAT/PI categorywise, then the minimum score would be reduced (increased) to get the desired number of
candidates
3. Personal Interview
Personal interview of short listed candidates will be conducted at Raipur. Shortlisting will be
done on the basis of CAT/GMAT/BAT Score. Admission Committee will decide the number
of candidates to be called for Personal Interview on the basis of short listed merit list
prepared for each category.
4. Preparing the Merit List
The Merit List will be prepared based on CAT/GMAT/BAT Score, Personal Interview,
Academic Qualification and Relevant Working Experience.

4. Acceptance of Admission Offer
A candidate receiving admission offer from IIM Raipur and accepting the offer within the
stipulated date needs to send Offer Acceptance Letter and fee of Rs.50,000/- (by the date
mentioned in offer letter) which will be adjusted against the amount of first instalment.

5. Withdrawal
If a candidate subsequently wishes to withdraw the offer within the withdrawal date
specified in the Offer Letter, Offer Acceptance Amount will be refunded after deducting
Rs.1000/- as processing charges. If a candidate registers for the programme, his/her Offer
Acceptance Amount will be adjusted against Term I Fee. In the event of withdrawal from the
Programme after registration, and if seat consequently falling vacant gets filled by another
candidate by the last date of admission, IIM Raipur will return the fees collected with
proportionate deductions of fee and hostel rent, where applicable.
6. No Objection Certificate
Candidates have to submit the No-Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of
admission.
The completed application form should reach IIM Raipur on or before March 4, 2015

7. Registration and Inauguration of the Programme
Registration & Inauguration of the Programme will take place on June 6, 2015.
