“Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray
over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord.” James 5:14 (NRSV)
FRANGELISM
Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who
had followed Jesus. The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him,
“We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked
at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas” (which, when
translated, is Peter). John 1:40-42
Join us in being obedient to the Great Commission by sharing your faith with 5 Friends,
Relatives, Associates & Neighbors each week who are Unsaved, Unsure, or Unchurched.
Invite them to be with you in Worship, Wednesday in the Word, or Church School.
Our prayer is that they will come to know Jesus and commit to following Him daily.

JUSTICE MINISTRY NEWS
All Team members, Network members and ALL interested members of our St. Paul Family are
invited to the ICARE Community Problems Assembly this Tuesday evening at 6:45pm at the
Abyssinia Baptist Church, 10325 Interstate Drive. The 6 candidates for Sheriff, The State
Senators (Republicans and Democrats) along with other Officials have been invited.
Please plan to be in attendance to see the progress of the "ISSUES" already in place: the
Mayor's efforts to bring "JOBS" to the north side of Jacksonville; our Schools that are now using
"DIRECT INSTRUCTIONS" for those students reading below grade level; and the plans to keep
the "HOMELESS DAY CENTER" opened. We also want to know the following: What is
happening with the "MENTAL HEALTH" issues and what are the next steps in getting the use of
CIVIL CITATIONS used more to keep our youth out of the criminal system.
Your support is needed to keep Jacksonville moving in the right direction of "JUSTICE FOR
ALL".
Thank you.

A Study of The Book of Nehemiah
REVIEW OF LESSON SIX
“THE ENEMIES’ LIES”
When the enemy fails miserably in his attempts to stop the people from
working, they decided to concentrate their attacks on Nehemiah. If they
could eliminate him, they could mobilize their allies living in Jerusalem
and take over the city.

seen recently?
2. In this chapter, Nehemiah’s enemies tried to manipulate and discredit
him. What were the messages Nehemiah received? How were they manipulative?
How did Nehemiah reply to each one?
What was Nehemiah’s overall approach to being manipulated, intimidated, and discredited?
Why?
What effect did the enemies’ efforts have on the work of rebuilding the wall? Why?
How did the completion of the wall affect Nehemiah’s opposition? What situation did
Nehemiah have to deal with then?
Which of the people in this chapter do you most resemble in the way you deal with conflict?
Please explain.
How can you improve the way you handle conflict?
