In observance of Veterans Day, Cuyamaca College remembers and honors the
contribution of both our active and veteran military families by hosting a
week of veteran related activities.
Mobile VA Unit
Grand Lawn, Monday, November 10th from 0900 to 1500
The Mobile Vet Center is a customized vehicle that is equipped with confidential counseling space and a state of the art communication package that will provide VA benefits explanation and assistance, referrals for medical issues, employment assessment and much
more!
Student Veterans’ Organization Food Sale
Grand Lawn, Monday, November 10th from 0930 to 1230
Student Veterans Organization will be selling coffee and donuts to help raise money for
club activities.
CSU Transfer Application Workshop for Veteran Students
Wednesday, November 12th from 1300 to 1500
The workshop will provide a general overview on how to submit the California State
University online application for admission.

Student Veterans’ BBQ
Water Conservation Garden, Thursday, November 13th from 1200-1330
Veteran students please join us for a complimentary BBQ in your honor. In addition to the
food, we will have music and entertainment in the form of a guest speaker.

Cuyamaca College Library, Monday through Friday, November 10th-14th
The library will host a book display to honor Veterans Week and those who have served.

Registration
Spring 2014 Priority Registration for
Veterans is November 17, 2014
*Priority registration is for ALL veterans with a DD214 and active duty with
ID card.
** New veteran students must complete the online orientation to receive
priority registration via WebAdvisor.
If you are a veteran and your registration date is any date other
than the above date, contact the Admissions and Records office as
soon as possible at (619) 660-4282.
