Outline of the Workshop
This is a two-day workshop on advanced data analysis
which will introduce the more advanced statistical
techniques that are available for researchers. This
workshop will help postgraduate students on how to do
advanced analysis. Guidelines on selecting the right
techniques for what level of data will also be discussed.
This workshop will use practical hands on approach with
real research data sets with research questions that can
be answered using the data available. Some useful tips
on how and where to get published will be given.
1. Introduction to Transformation
• Recode
• Compute
2. Goodness of Data
• Factor analysis
• Assumptions and requirements
• Reliability Analysis
3. Introduction to Multivariate Relationship tests
• Multiple regression
• Multiple regression with control variables
• Moderated regression
• Mediated regression
• Baron & Kenny (1986) Method
.
