Marsfield Ladies High Tea
Last Saturday, the Marsfield Ladies gathered together to fund
raise for Breast and Ovarian Cancer. This was a follow-up from
last year’s successful get together. With great drama and wonderful energy, the High tea was carried off with gusto and finesse. A great deal of thanks need to go to the organizers of this
event, especially Cathy Moylan and Cathy Young. Having said
that, there were so many helpers, too many to name, that we
need to offer enormous gratitude for their generosity of time,
energy and spirit. It was a very successful afternoon raising
$3050. Here are some pictures of the preparation and the event.

ANNUAL LOSS AND GRIEF LITURGY
St Anthony’s Annual Loss and Grief Liturgy will be
celebrated on Tuesday, 18th November at 7.30pm.
This Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion takes

of a loved one during the past year. It is an opportunity to
participate in a prayer ritual for those who have died, and to support
each other during the grieving process.
Those attending are asked to bring a photo of the deceased person
they wish to pray for. We also ask that you please bring a plate of
food to share afterwards in the Parish Centre.
All enquiries to Madeleine 9888-5222.

the Sacrament of Baptism this weekend:

PROJECT BACKPACK
Thank you to all who have donated items to the collection of backpacks
for kids in care. The response has been overwhelming and very
humbling. Many people have been asking when the cut-off time is. My
aim is to sort and pack on Saturday 6th December, so there is plenty of
time.
Again, thank you
Christine Robertson

Major Maintenance Works
Over the next several weeks the Parish is
having some major maintenance works done
around the property.
This will necessitate the closure (either partial
or total) of the car park in order to comply with
the Work, Health and Safety Regulations. In
other words, there is going to be some
inconvenience to everyone.
Please have patience whilst this necessary
work is being undertaken.
This will not apply for the weekend Masses…
hopefully.
Parish Maintenance: Painting Ministry
Because of Termite damage, the kitchen in the Parish Centre was renewed last week. However, this
means that it needs PAINTING.
Is there a couple of Volunteers that could assist
with this job?
It is not a large job but we need to get it done ASAP.
