The club also has a web site at www.yorktown rotaryclub.org for the general public and Race participants. 2014-2015 Goals for the Rotary Club of Yorktown Club Organization: (1) Qualify the Yorktown Rotary Club for the RI Presidential Citation Award, (2) Produce a 3 year Strategic Club Plan consistent with current club practices and RI Strategic Plan Guidance Themes for 2014-2015, (3) Develop Plan to enhance work in local area Club Administration: (1) Conduct quarterly club assemblies; Post Bulletin on DaCdb & keep website current, (2) distribute a monthly club bulletin, (3) hold two club membership-spouse dinner events in place of regular club meetings Club Membership: (1) Increase membership by four (4) Send at least one member to District Conference & four to the District Assembly, (3) Participate in District related member recruitment programs, (4) Send two students to RYLA. RI Foundation: (1) 100% participation in Every Rotarian Every Year with $200 per member, (2) $2,000 to PolioPlus in addition to a fund raiser supporting Polio-Plus goals, (3) One additional RI Benefactor Club Public Relations: (1) Publish articles quarterly on club community activities, (2) Highlight Club community activities to enhance recruiting.
