GFRP anchors for ancient pillars in Church
The Saint Trudo church in Peer,Belgium is a historical monument of the 14 th century. Building N.V. was doing renovation works and they noted cracks in the natural stone pillars of
the church. Triconsult N.V., a specialised engineering consultant was called in and they specified the use of the Aslan ,
GFRP rebars installed in boreholes that were injected with a
cementitous grout. So the sand stones of the pillars were anchored back together. And the stability was garantueed.
