Message From Our Pastor
Beloved Parishioners and Friends,
Thanksgiving is the celebration of this month
and Thanksgiving is what I offer to God for
all of you and for your presence in my ministry. Day after day I feel more blessed to be
your servant and to walk the journey of faith
with this amazing community that helps me
become a better minister through their dedication and cooperation. After the beautiful experience of the visit of our Patriarch
followed by the Annual Festival and then by the visit of the Relics of St. Rafka into
our community and the Men’s Club Scholarship dinner; we feel so much the love
of parishioners that give out of their time and talents for the wellbeing of our community. The visit of the Relics of St. Rafka on her Centennial Jubilee brought us a
special connection to this beautiful saint. It was a very spiritual experience and it
was hard to say good bye. We felt as if St. Rafka herself, or part of her was present
among us. I hope that her prayers on our behalf and her great example of faith and
enduring the cross of suffering may be a consolation to all of you especially those
who have some burden crosses to carry. The second weekend of November will
include our Annual Bake Sale that the ladies of the Altar Society and St. Anne’s
Club will be hosting. This is another symbol of love and dedication that this worthy
club has been offering for many decades.
I hope that you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and loved
ones as we take time to thank God for all his blessings especially for the gift of
family. May your life be a song of Thanksgiving to God for his goodness and love.
I assure you that I will remember you during the Eucharist (Thanksgiving) and lift
you up to God. Please call upon me if I can be of any help at any time.

Tuition Subsidy Program in our parish.

The Order of St. Sharbel is a national organization of people who pledge
their spiritual strength and
financial support for the
Seminary of Our Lady of
Lebanon, seminarians, and
retired clergy of the Eparchy of St. Maron and the
Eparchy of Our Lady of
Lebanon. This organization is comprised of two chapters, which act under the leadership of the local bishop.
For those who join now they will be installed
during the visit of our Bishop this January.

7 Hours of Adoration
Project Roots to Visit
our Parish
On the weekend of December 6-7, 2014 a representative from Project Roots will be visiting our
parish to raise the awareness on the issue of
registering the children of Lebanese descent
who are born in the United States.
Our monthly 7 Hours Adoration will take place
on Friday, November the 7th.
There will be a Divine Liturgy at 9:30am to be
followed by the exposition of the Holy Eucharist
until 5:00pm when we will have the Benediction
of the Holy Eucharist.
Please, come and spend some times with our
Lord in the Holy Eucharist.
