INTRODUCTION
SEMINAR LEADER
Whilst pre-negotiation planning is
indispensable to the construction of a
sustainable and viable commercial
relationship, the negotiation and drafting
stages cement the alliance with a critical
eye to the future.
This workshop-based seminar which is
cross-jurisdictional in focus, aims to equip
delegates with the essential skill-base and
requisite substantive legal and business
knowledge needed in order to effectively
advise on, negotiate and draft key
cross-border commercial contracts.
The day will be divided up into several
agreement-specific workshops. During
these workshops, you will have the
opportunity to discuss the business and
legal implications relevant to distribution,
agency and licensing agreements.
As this seminar is not jurisdiction specific it
is ideal for those working both in the UK and
overseas.
Michala Meiselles has been in practice as
a solicitor since 1999. She specialises in
cross-border transactions and agreements.
She is a law lecturer at the School of Law
of Université Jean Moulin (France), adjunct
