NOVEMBER DEVOTIONS Fr Jim writes: This weekend, we celebrate the feast of All Saints, when we rejoice over our family & friends who are now in heaven. Monday is All Souls, when we pray for the dead who may not “yet” (in our human understanding) be in the full glory of heaven. For most of us who have lost many family members, this is very comforting idea. There is an extra Mass on Monday, at 7pm, to allow you to offer Mass for your dead friends & relatives. At the back of the church is the ’Book of the Dead’, which includes parishioners who have died since Nov. 1st last year. You are invited to add the names of those for whom you wish us to pray. This book is brought to the altar at the offertory procession at each Mass this month. 2015 1st COMMUNION PROGRAMME Fr Jim writes: The next weekend session is Sat.
