GOVERNMENT OF KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA ENERGY & POWER DEPARTMENT DC STANDALONE SOLAR SYSTEM TENDER NOTICE SELECTION OF SUPPLIER/CONTRACTORS FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF SOLAR STANDALONE DC HOME SYSTEMS IN KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA  Being a motto of the present Provincial Government to provide basic facility of electricity to remote areas of the Province as comprehensive strategy for poverty alleviation, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched a program for providing DC Standalone Solar Home Systems in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.  Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO) is looking for suppliers/contractors for supply and installation of 5800 Standalone DC Solar Home Systems in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.  Both Projects are funded by Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through its Annual Development Program (ADP). Total 5800 Houses will be provided with standalone DC Solar Home system. 90% of the cost of the system will be borne by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa whereas 10% will be borne by the house owner.  ADP No. 209 - 2900 systems  ADP No. 225 - 2900 systems  Bidders can quote 2900 systems or 5800 systems.  Interested bidders can obtain bidding documents from the office of the undersigned on written request along with bank draft of Rs. 20,000/- (non-refundable) in favor of Chief Planning Officer, Energy & Power Department Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Bidding documents can be downloaded from website www.kpkep.gov.pk.  Bids should be duly signed & stamped.  CDR 2% of quoted bid price to be attached with financial bid.  Bid amount and CDR amount must not be indicated in any way in technical bid.  In Technical bid an affidavit be attached stating that CDR of the requisite amount is enclosed in financial bid.  Firms should be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant code.  Pre bid meeting will be held on October 24, 2014.  Last date for submission of tender is November 03, 2014.
