The Best Chemistry Teacher Awards (BCTA) 2014 is looking for India's foremost faculty in the field of chemistry teaching. BCTA has been successfully recognizing and awarding teachers over the last three years. BCTA was instituted to commemorate the United Nation's International Year of Chemistry (IYC) in 2011. BCTA applauds exemplary chemistry teachers teaching class XI and XII, undergraduate courses and post-graduate levels. We will also recognize achievements in the Best Young Chemistry Teacher Award (under 40 yrs as on September 1, 2014), and the Best Chemistry Teacher for Promotion of Chemistry as a subject. We reserve the distinction of The Best Chemistry Teachers for those who have a passion to teach and an enthusiasm that's infectious. Our selection criterion looks for an overall approach to teaching, flair to ignite young minds and promoting science beyond the classroom. In short, we are looking for the extraordinary amongst you. Samant President, Association of Chemistry Teachers Best Young Chemistry Teacher RULES AND REGULATIONS ELIGIBILITY: The applicant must be a full-time teacher engaged in teaching Chemistry at either Class XI and XII, Graduate or PostGraduate level. Only those in active service (as of September 1, 2014) as regular teachers in recognized institutions in India are eligible to participate. BCTA 2011 and BCTA 2012 and BCTA 2013 finalists are also allowed to participate. NOTE: • Online submissions are preferred and recommended.
