During this period we will learn more about the English speaking world. You will learn about these countries, historical events, life, cultural phenomena and social relations etc. Choose which area you want to learn more about and share this with the class. How? We will start off by learning a little about English speaking countries such as Great Britain and South Africa. Then you will do some research on a subject of your choice, you will be given classes to put together your material. After this you will tell the class what you have learned in an interesting presentation. *The subjects can be almost anything that has to do with the English speaking countries, for example: The history of Australia, India – what’s happening there right now, Bollywood, IRA, Apartheid in South Africa, School in New Zealand, Holidays in Ireland, Malta – a tourist paradise or the history of Jamaica. Tips!  Make sure your subject has a clear connection to an English speaking county and that you include some of your own thoughts in your presentation.  DO NOT READ, we want to hear you talk relatively freely. Use key words if you want to.  Use some kind of visual aid, more pictures than text.  Look at your audience, speak clearly and use strategies if you can’t think of a word.
