Residential Lawn Maintenance Service Agreement

Lawn service is to be provided on a weekly basis during the months of March through October and 1 service
visit per month during the months of November through February. In the event of inclement weather or
unforeseen circumstances, the services provided will be scheduled for the next available day. Lawn service
will include mowing all turf areas, trimming all areas inaccessible to mower with line trimmer, edging all
walkways and driveways, blowing all resulting clippings with a power blower. Shields Lawn Care will provide
39 service visits per year.
The above listed services shall be billed to the CLIENT at the rate of $_______ per month.

In the event of early termination of this agreement CLIENT agrees to remit payment of any balances due on
previously performed services.
This agreement shall commence on ____________ and continue thereafter as long as both parties are
satisfied.

To arrive at the monthly payment due per month, take the number of service visits per year (39)
and multiply it by the cost per service visit then divide by 12. You will receive an invoice for the
same amount each month (Jan – Dec).
Number of visits per month:
March – October: Shields Lawn Care will service your property a minimum of 4 times per month
(some months, you will receive 5 visits).
November – February: You will receive 1 visit per month, which we will keep everything mowed,
edged, and blown off.

Invoices will be sent out to the client around the 15 of each month for the following month’s
services.

If payments are not received by the 1 of each service month, Shields Lawn Care may impose a
late fee, withhold service, or upon written or verbal notice, cancel service.
Client will not receive discount or be refunded for any service day missed due to late or
nonpayment.

In the event of default the CLIENT agrees to reimburse Shields Lawn Care all administrative
costs, collection costs, attorney fees, recording fees and/or court costs.
CLIENT agrees to pay a $35.00 fee for each check returned from the bank for any and all
reasons.

Additional services may be provided at additional costs as needed at client’s request. Such as mulching, sod
installation, landscape upgrades, pressure washing, etc.
Any additional services will be billed separately and in addition to lawn maintenance.
If you are not satisfied with the level of service you are being provided, please notify Casey Shields at
Shields Lawn Care immediately so that we can correct any issues in a timely manner.
Shields Lawn Care, or its employees, is not responsible for any damage of items left on turf areas and/or
malfunctioning or improperly installed sprinkler heads.
If a dog is kept on the property, CLIENT must have lawn free of pet droppings when contractor is scheduled
to service lawn, or CLIENT may be charged a $5 equipment clean-up fee per visit.
There is no obligation for either party to continue service. Either party may terminate this agreement by
serving a 15-day notice and remitting any payments due.
