 11/10: Global Crossroads Brown Bag Series: Air Pollution and Pregnancy Outcomes in
Mexico City, Mexico – Marie O’Neill, PhD and Marisol Castillo Castrejon, PhD

pollution and other factors contribute to preterm birth and low birth weight.

 Opportunity for PhD Students: Progressive Health Partnership (PHP)
o PHP is looking for public health PhD students who may be interested in conducting
research in conjunction with the organization’s program in southwestern Uganda.

 Graduate Student Position: Research Assistant
o Project title: The State of Reproductive Services for HIV-infected Individuals at St. Paul’s
Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
o Responsibilities include: qualitative data analysis through literature reviews and
development of: a codebook, a summary of findings, and an executive report.

Guidelines for HIV-Serodiscordant Couples Desiring Children

developing inclusion/exclusion criteria, and developing recommendations to the WHO.
