Help inventors crystallize any valuable IP from their work, including inventions, tangible research materials, and copyrightable materials. Actively participate in Cornell-wide educational program to increase the general awareness of IP issues. Coordinate with the appropriate staff to plan and implement outreach and economic development activities. Current portfolio contains inventions from more than 80 inventors. Intellectual Property Licensing Interact with the technology businesses and investment communities to promote utilization of Cornell IPs for economic development. Actively transfer IPs generated at WCMC to industry partners so that they can be developed into useful products for the public to advance the university's missions. Activities include preparing marketing material for each docket available for licensing in my portfolio; marketing IPs to potential licensees; drafting and negotiating license agreement with potential licensees; and maintaining good rapport with existing and potential industry partners at all time. In the past three years, I successfully negotiated 15 licenses including 3 startup licenses.
