Registration & Class Information for Fall Sessions
Registration Location: Lake View Terrace Recreation Center’s GYM.
Payments: Payments for all classes is due at time of registration.
PAYMENT BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ONLY, MADE PAYABLE TO: L.A. City Dept. of Recreation and Parks
A COLLECTION FEE WILL BE CHARGE FOR EACH CHECK RETURNED BY THE BANK.
Registration for L.A. KIDS and Low Cost Classes for Session III begins:
Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.
Registration will continue until classes are filled.
Participants must have reached the minimum age for classes by the 1st day of class.
Proof of age may be required.
Lake View Terrace Recreation Center
reserves the right to cancel or combine any class due to low enrollment.
(Classes are subject to change)
Please Note: All classes are on a first come first served basis. Classes will not be in session on
Holidays observed by the City of Los Angeles (Please see below for further details). Any class that is
canceled by Lake View Terrace Recreation Center will be made up at the end of the session.
Class will not be made up if the student is absent, including reasons of Illnesses.
Regardless of when a student registers and begins a class, the fee remains the same.
Refund Policy: “Full refunds are only issued when the Recreation Center cancels the activity.
A 15% cancellation fee is issued for all refunds. Changes or transfers per class, sports league, or day camp registration may
be assessed additional fees. After the first day of a session, the Recreation Center issues a partial refund to patrons
withdrawing from the activity patrons withdrawing from the activity.”

volunteer PAB (Park Advisory Board) Member on the
Lake View Terrace Recreation Center/Hansen Dam PAB (Park Advisory Board).
A Park Advisory Board (PAB) consists of individuals who are community residents, business
members, and those who work or spend time in a community and who are recruited and
selected to help strengthen local recreation programs and services. The Department of
Recreation and Parks (RAP) believes that the partnership between staff and the community is
of primary importance in identifying and meeting the recreational needs of the community.
