leadership opportunities and career services. It’s all designed to help you gain a
competitive edge — and build a satisfying career. Here you’ll find:
What is EEP?
Through Johnson & Wales’ EEP, you’ll apply for early enrollment during your junior year
of high school. Then, during your senior year you’ll start at JWU and complete your
senior year of high school — earning credits for both while still participating in your
high school activities.
Why should I consider EEP?
Graduate earlier. As an EEP student, you’ll graduate one full year earlier than your peers
and get started on your career sooner.
Tremendous savings. Through EEP, your tuition cost for your first year will be half the
regular JWU tuition cost. Plus you’ll be eligible for JWU scholarships totaling up to
50 percent of any institutional aid you receive. Students are not eligible for federal
• Faculty with real-world experience who get to know you and your career aspirations,
and who serve as your mentors.
• Small classroom settings where you’ll learn by doing, by turning theory into practice.
• Internships: Last year, more than 4,000 students gained industry experience at
1,900 internship sites in 30 countries.
• International perspective: Learn from students from more than 90 countries or
study overseas in one of our 43 study abroad programs, from Switzerland to
Costa Rica to Australia.
• Career development services: workshops, résumé building, interviewing skills,
on-campus career fairs, and an online jobs database exclusively for JWU students.
• Four campus locations in dynamic cities that offer a wide range of athletics
along with student clubs and organizations.
financial aid during their first year.
Enjoy the best of both worlds. You’ll still be able to take part in high school activities
and attend graduation with your class. Plus, you’ll enjoy all the benefits of being a
JWU student. You’ll take college classes and have the opportunity to participate in
JWU student activities. You’ll also be eligible to live in one of our residence halls.
“EEP was a wonderful experience for
our daughter, Emily. Her father and I felt
assured that she was in good hands
that first year when she would otherwise
still have been in high school. I greatly appreciate the time you spent
getting to know Emily before admitting her.
It helped us to feel confident that she was
ready for the challenge.
Emily absolutely flourished in the
JWU environment that first year and
continued on an amazingly successful path
during her time at Johnson & Wales.”

mother of Emily Alexander
