ELECTRICAL SAFETY RECALL Woolworths and BIG W are recalling Chevron and Woolworths Essentials and Chevron Double Adaptors, 4 and 6 Outlet Power boards and Surge Protection Cubes IDENTIFCATION (embossed on back of product) Woolworths Essential range: LEFT & RIGHT DOUBLE ADAPTORS 2 PACK MODEL: DAL/DAR, 4 OUTLET POWER BOARD, SURGE PROTECTION, MODEL: PB4S SURGE CUBE MODEL : ZM-AFX110H DOUBLE ADAPTOR MODEL: DAV 4 OUTLET SURGE PROTECTED POWER BOARD WITH 3 METRE LEAD, MODEL : WH-4PBS Chevron range: DOUBLE ADAPTOR MODEL : CDAL/CDA DOUBLE ADAPTOR 2PACK MODEL : DAV 4 and 6 OUTLET SURGE PROTECTED POWER BOARD WITH 3 METRE LEAD, MODELS : WH4PBS and WH-6PBS SURGE CUBE MODEL : ZM-AFX110H DEFECTS: The electrical contacts of the sockets are poorly aligned and the plastic enclosure does not meet the flammability requirements of the applicable standard. HAZARD: There is a risk of overheating and fire WHERE SOLD: Woolworths Supermarkets and BIG W stores across Australia from December 2009 to November 2014. ACTION REQUIRED: Consumers should stop using the double adaptors and return them to their nearest BIG W Store or, Woolworths Supermarkets store to receive a full refund.
