Nican Mopohua

This two part lecture by Fr. Vincent Louwagie, is an in-depth look at the Nican Mopohua message received by Juan Diego and the image of Mary conserved on his tilma in
Mexico City. The series will reflect on the historical religious and cultural
impact of the Guadalupe appearances and their message for the Americas
today. Traditional indigenous religious dances will be included as part of the
second conference.
Fr. Vincent Louwagie, OMI is the Director of the Ministry to Minister Sabbatical program
at OST. Prior to this position, he was a missionary in the Oblate Province of Mexico for 40
years serving several terms as Provincial and Director of Colegio Vista Hermosa in Mexico
City.
