METRO is conducting a public hearing regarding a
series of route and schedule modifications that will take
place on Sunday, January 25, 2015.
52 Scott – Weekdays – Add a southbound trip at
2:38 p.m.(starting from Fannin and Prairie) to
alleviate passenger overloads.
The public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday,
November 11, 2014, at the METRO Headquarters,
1900 Main Street, 2nd Floor Board Room, 12 Noon.
82 Westheimer / West Oaks – Weekdays – Add an
eastbound trip at 7:18 a.m. and adjust trip times
between 6:47 – 7:59 a.m.; add a westbound trip at
3:25 p.m. and adjust trip times between 3:15 –
4:54 p.m., all to alleviate passenger overloads.

6 Jensen / Tanglewood – 7 days/week – Due to the
closure of Dallas Street, the 6 Jensen / Tanglewood will
be rerouted via Texas – Louisiana – Franklin (eastbound)
and via Congress – Smith – Prairie (westbound); the
schedule will be adjusted.
20 Canal / Long Point – 7 days/week – Due to the
closure of Dallas Street, the 20 Canal/Long Point
will be rerouted via the downtown HOV ramp –
Franklin (eastbound) and via Congress – Louisiana –
I 10 (westbound); the schedule will be adjusted.

36 Kempwood / Lawndale – 7 days/week – Due to the
closure of Dallas Street, the 36 Kempwood/Lawndale
will be rerouted via Bagby – Dallas – Smith – Clay
(eastbound) and via Bell – Louisiana – Lamar – Bagby
(westbound); the schedule will be adjusted.
40 Pecore / Telephone – 7 days/week – Due to the closure
of Dallas Street, the 40 Pecore / Telephone will be
rerouted via Bagby – Dallas – Smith – Clay – La Branch
(eastbound) and via Bell – Louisiana – Lamar – Bagby
(westbound); the schedule will be adjusted.
46 Gessner – Weekdays – Adjust southbound trip times
between 3:40 - 4:45 p.m. for more reliable service.

50 Harrisburg / Heights – 7 days/week - Due to the
closure of Dallas Street, the 50 Harrisburg/Heights will
be rerouted via Bagby – Texas (eastbound) and via
Capitol (westbound); the schedule will be adjusted.
85 Antoine – 7 days/week – Due to the closure of Dallas
Street, the 85 Antoine will be rerouted via Smith –
Clay – La Branch (southbound) and via Austin – Bell –
Louisiana (northbound); the schedule will be adjusted.
86 FM 1960 – Weekdays – Add a 5:16 a.m. eastbound trip
between S.H. 249/Willowchase and Greenspoint Transit
Center and a 6:45 a.m. westbound trip between
Greenspoint Transit Center and University Park, all to
alleviate passenger overloads.
87 Sunnyside – Weekdays – Add two northbound trips
between El Camino/Holly Hall and TMC Transit Center at
8:25 and 9:15 a.m.; add a 5:53 p.m. southbound trip
between TMC Transit Center and Knight/Holly Hall;
adjust trip times between 5:43 - 6:18 p.m., all to
alleviate passenger overloads.
97 Settegast – Weekdays – Shift the northbound trip
start time from 6:50 a.m. to 7:02 a.m. Add a
northbound trip at 8:02 a.m. and a southbound
trip at 7:32 a.m., all to alleviate passenger overloads.
131 Memorial – Weekdays & Saturdays – Due to the
closure of Dallas Street, the 131 Memorial will be
rerouted via Smith – Clay – La Branch (eastbound), and
via Austin – Bell – Louisiana (westbound); the schedule
will be adjusted.
217 Cypress Park & Ride – Weekdays – Add a 6:00 a.m.
inbound trip. Add a 5:32 p.m. outbound trip and adjust
a.m. and p.m. trip times, all to alleviate passenger
overloads.
221 Kingsland Park & Ride – Weekdays – Add an inbound
trip at 6:30 a.m. and adjust a.m. trip times; adjust trip
times between 3:25 and 5:46 p.m., all to alleviate
passenger overloads.
222 Grand Parkway Park & Ride – Weekdays – Add an
inbound trip at 6:26 a.m. and an outbound trip at
5:08 p.m.; adjust trip times, all to alleviate passenger
overloads.
228 Addicks Park & Ride – Weekdays – Add a 7:50 a.m.
inbound trip and adjust trip times, all to alleviate
passenger overloads.
229 Kingsland Addicks Park & Ride – Weekdays – Change
the frequency from 45 to 25 minutes between 12 noon
and 2:35 p.m. on Friday only to alleviate passenger
overloads.
244 Monroe Park & Ride – Weekdays – Eliminate the
4:37 p.m. inbound trip starting at Fuqua Park & Ride,
due to low ridership.
246 Bay Area Park & Ride – Weekdays – Add a 4:28 p.m.
outbound trip and adjust trip times between 4:10 and
4:45 p.m., all to alleviate passenger overloads.
247 Fuqua Park & Ride – Weekdays – Add a 4:34 p.m.
inbound trip and adjust inbound trip times between
4:34 - 5:42 p.m. Adjust outbound trip times between
3:34 – 5:42 p.m., all to alleviate passenger overloads.
256 Eastex Park & Ride – Weekdays – Add a 7:13 a.m.
inbound trip and adjust trip times between
7:00 – 7:33 a.m. Add an outbound trip at 4:38 p.m.
and adjust trip times between 4:05 – 4:45 p.m.,
all to alleviate passenger overloads.
265 West Bellfort Park & Ride – Weekdays – Add an
8:35 a.m. inbound trip and adjust trip times, all to
alleviate passenger overloads.
285 Kingsland/Uptown Park & Ride - Weekdays –
Discontinue route due to low ridership.
