Innovative Solutions Ergonomic Design and Innovative Technology Major Benefits The design of T-RAC II is developed to improve the working conditions of operators during mobile and in-house collections. T-RAC II is available for wired or wireless data transfer and equipped with a charger, lithium-ion battery and a barcode scanner with auto-read function. Several options are available to optimize the device to local needs. Slim Design for tight working spaces Newly developed high-tech materials and technologies in T-RAC II reduce the required minimum space for the device during transport and under working conditions. The integrated removable lightweight lithium-ion battery guarantees high energy capacity without charging for about one week. The battery is not sensitive to specific loading conditions (no memory effect). Loading can be done in the device itself or by using a charging station (Optional). The Remote Control (Optional) avoids working in uncomfortable position and is therefore prevents down bending and straining injuries. An antenna is attached to the remote control unit indicating the progress of the donation and showing sudden alarms. To adapt to different conditions at donation sites, the Remote Control function is available as a separate mobile unit (desktop) which can be placed on a table or a multifunctional pole attached to the device. The Clamp locks the tube in the correct position during the entire collection. The locking mechanism is activated by pushing the clamp backwards during tube insertion or by pushing the button on the touch screen. In emergency cases the tube can be unlocked mechanically. The large Colour Touch Screen (5.67”) easily guides the operator with pictograms and illustrated instructions through the complete procedure. The display is clearly structured and only contains information and touch buttons which are important in that actual phase of the donation procedure. A keypad option is available to enter unreadable barcodes or other information. Without barcode reader and connection to the data management system (TOMEs). Automated Data Collection Highly Flexible Software The Highly Flexible Software allows you to define and store different configuration settings and parameters in the device. All important donation data, barcode scans and events are recorded according to GMP, stored in the internal memory (up to 100 donations) and (if required) transferred to the network. The USB port on the front allows data download if a network is not available. Bi-directional communication via TOMEs allows the parameter setting of one or multiple T-RAC II devices. For each individual donation additional features ( like donor approval or the donor specific configuration of the donation process ) can be defined. Other applications include the monitoring of active devices or the management of the donation data e.g. the creation of files for separation.
