Ekstrakcija, izolovanje, sinteza i biološka aktivnost sekundarnih metabolita biljnih vrsta
roda Hypericum
dr Andrija Šmelcerović, vanredni profesor Medicinskog fakulteta u Nišu
Rod Hypericum L. (Hypericaceae/Guttiferae) obuhvata oko 484 biljnih vrsta, rasprostranjenih širom
sveta. Biljne vrste roda Hypericum se tradicionalno koriste u narodnoj medicine. Broj naučnih publikacija
o biljnim vrstama ovog roda je značajno porastao usled farmakološkog značaja sekundarnih metabolita
kantariona (Hypericum perforatum L.). Najznačajniji biokativni sastojci ovog roda su: (i) naftodiantroni,
od kojih su najpoznatiji hipericin i pseudohipericin, (ii) derivati floroglucinola, pre svih hiperforin i
adhiperforin, i (iii) flavonoidi, hiperozid, rutin, kvercetin i drugi. Hipericin i pseudohipericin deluju kao
antivirotici, hiperforin je jedan od nosilaca antidepresivnog dejstva ekstrakata biljnih vrsta roda
Hypericum, dok flavonoidi pokazuju antioksidatvnu aktivnost.
U ovom predavanju biće predstavljeni rezultati istarživanja o ekstrakciji, izolovanju, sintezi i biološkoj
aktivnosti sekundarnih metabolita biljnih vrsta roda Hypericum.
