The Langsford Men’s Chorus is named after Dr. Harry Langsford, founder of the Wayne State University Men’s Glee Club. Since the beginning the chorus has welcomed all men who sing so that by the end of its first season about a third of the members were non-WSU alumni. With their adherence to the principles of excellence in choral music the Langsford Men’s Chorus has grown to over sixty members, all with very diverse musical backgrounds. Today the Langsford Men’s Chorus stands on its own, proud of its heritage, a n d d ed i ca t ed to p erf o r m i n g , promoting, and perpetuating the art of men’s choral music through the brotherhood of song and the fellowship among men.
