Tournament information
Organization of the games
The tournament will be played in a group play. Teams which
are eliminated will be guaranteed one game on Sunday. For
groups B 08, B09 and G08, G09 there is no final play.
Playing grounds
All games are played on grass or artifical grass in central Piteå.

Playing time
11 players 2x20 minutes, 7 and 5 players 2x15 minutes.
Dispensation
Dispensations will automatically be given to two players per
game who are maximum one year over aged.
Teams from countries that still use the 1st of August limit
(mainly USA and England) may also use players 5 months
over aged.
Dispensation applications must be made prior to May 13.
After May 13, a fee of 300 SEK will be added. (no application
needed
for the ones mentioned above).
Referees
Authorized referees come from Piteå Referee Club and educated youth referees from the local clubs.

Fees: 1200 SEK/team with accommodation provided by
PSG, 700 SEK/team 5-a-side, 1300 SEK/team 7-a-side and
1500 SEK/team 11-a-side. Fee is only refunded when teams
withdraw before closing date. Pay attention that you are not
guaranteed place in the tournament before the fee is paid.
Participation fees
Participation fee: 900 SEK per participant (players and
leaders) On May 13, 2015 at the latest, participants fee must
be at hand.

The 26th edition of Piteå Summer Games will take place in
2015.
We’ll be playing under the Midnight Sun in 2015 as well!
The distance between games, schools, activities and bath
is short. That is one of the reasons that so many chose to
participate annually.

Activities/Means of transport
Opening ceremony
The opening ceremony takes place in the centre of Piteå on
Friday evening. It contains entertainment and a big parade
through central Piteå.
Activities for players
From June 26 - June 28 a ball juggling competition will take
place at Nolia. All the players in Piteå Summer Games may
take part. There is one class for boys and one for girls. The
three best participants will receive cups.
On Saturday there will be a big youth disco.
There are various activities to participate in, some with
great prices.
Train
Piteå Summer Games will offer teams group fares to Piteå
on the Summer Games train from Stockholm.
The train will start from Stockholm on wednesday June 24
and will be back to Stockholm on June 29.
Teams can buy a group ticket that covers the train fare.

Bus
Many bus companies run along the highway E4.
Buy a ticket to Piteå bus station. Teams that arrive to the
bus station will have a free transfer to their accommodation,
provided by PSG. This is valid for Thursday 25th and early
Friday morning on the 26th. Make the reservation on your
teampage, cause it must be pre-booked.
Air
It is possible to fly to Luleå airport and then continue by bus
to Piteå. Teams/clubs that arrive by bus or plane can either
arrange for transfer themselves, or make a reservation. The
charge from PSG is 200 sek/pp roundtrip transfer.

Transfer from Luleå and Älvsbyn
For teams that arrive to Piteå Busstation the transfer to the
school accommodation is free of charge. For teams that
arrive to Luleå Busstation, Älvsby Railwaystation or Luleå
Airport, transfer can be arranged for you to your accommodation at a cost of 200 SEK/person. This offer is valid for
teams that arrive Thursday and leave Sunday. If transfer is
requested earlier/later, contact us.
Boat
Participants from Finland can go by ferry to Umeå and take a
bus to Piteå.
All teams shall arrive in Piteå on Thursday June 25 or
early on Friday morning June 26.
Other info
Awards
All teams recieve a diploma. The top three in each class
B16-B10, and G16-G10 receive a medal and a trofé.
Participants in the youngest classes receive a medal
(B09-08 and G09-08).
Important dates
The cup will be played June 26 - June 28 2015.
Last date for registration is April 10th 2015.
A confirmation of your application will be sent to you after
closing date.
Last date for paying the participation fee (900 SEK/pp) is
May 13th 2015.
Playing schedule will be posted at the website in the beginning of June.
