MAIN FEES COVER: tuition, single room accommodation at University of Roehampton, bedding bundle (including duvet, duvet
cover, mattress cover, pillow and pillow slip), return flights to Switzerland and accommodation for Craft Based Learning, some events
and facilities (i.e. conferences, leisure), University of Roehampton student union membership, administration costs, other school
supplies, administration charges for internship(s), membership for the Alumni Association of Glion (AAG), tutoring (when necessary),
industry presentations, examiner fees, career counseling. Any unused services, clothes, school supplies, benefits, etc. included in the
main fees are non refundable.
OTHER FEES COVER: application fee, residential & uniform deposit, books and library.
ADDITIONAL FEES NOT INCLUDED: board costs including food, parking, special accommodation, laundry costs, additonal linen,
health insurance when completing CBL in Switzerland or on internships, personal expenses including travel to and from the campus
and the internship site, pocket money and laptop are not included.

TUITION & FEES - TERMS & CONDITIONS
ELIGIBILITY +The student must hold a valid UK passport at the time of enrolling onto every semester and evidence of this must be
given with the application. Fees outlined are available to new students only.
+The Tuition, other fees and conditions fo UK passport holders cannot be combined with other forms of scholarship
awards.
+The Tuition, other fees and conditions for UK passport holders are applicable to GIHE London only. If a student
transfers to another GIHE campus, the receiving institution tuition fees, scholarship policy and terms and conditions
will apply.
ROOM
Undergraduate students will be guaranteed a room on campus for the duration of their studies. On application to Glion London
students will automatically be booked a single room on the University of Roehampton Whitelands campus. The single room will be
in the Whitelands accommodation and every effort will be made to house Glion students together in one building.
Whist every effort will be made to house postgraduate students, we cannot guarantee accommodation on campus, as accommodation
is strictly subject to availability. Support and guidance will be provided from Glion London and The University of Roehampton to
help accommodate students close to the Whitelands Campus.
While completing CBL in Switzerland both undergraduate and postgraduate students will be accommodated in twin rooms.
LAPTOP POLICY
Students will need to have individual access to our intranet website which hosts student information including support and
teaching documents and other learning resources. Students will also need to use internet for their project research, to access online
library resources or e-mails. Students must bring their own laptop that meets the institution’s requirements. Specifications will be
sent directly to the student upon confirmation of enrollment and are also published on our website (www.glion.edu). All operating
systems must be in english.
INSURANCE
While health insurance for EU, EEA, Swiss and British Overseas Territory nationals is not mandatory, personal health insurance is
available in the United Kingdom.
Students will need Health Insurance while travelling to, and studying in, Switzerland for Craft Based Learning. It is the student’s
responsibility to obtain suitable insurance while in Switzerland.
Depending on the location of the internship EU, EEA, Swiss and British Overseas Territory nationals may require health insurance.
This is the student’s responsibility to obtain adequate insurance for the duration of their internship.
OTHER EXPENSES
It is estimated that students require a minimum sum of GBP 450 per month to finance their out-of-pocket expenses such as food,
drinks, snacks, transport, entertainment, personal supplies, laundry and any other personal expenses.
APPLICATION FEE
A fee of GBP 70 is required with each application. Complete credit card information must be provided on the application form.
This fee is not refundable.
SCHOLARSHIPS
As a private institute, GIHE provides a limited number of scholarships for new students. The scholarships are competitive and
linked to Glion’s admissions strategy which aims to assist motivated young people to study at our institution. Each scholarship
has specific criteria and eligibility for a scholarship is examined on a case-by-case basis for those students who have submitted a
complete application.
DAMAGE & RESIDENTIAL DEPOSIT
A refundable damage deposit of GBP 175 is required to cover any damage caused to GIHE property by the student during
his/her studies. It is payable at the time of the first semester’s invoice and is refundable 3 months after final check-out (completion
of studies).
The Residential Deposit of GBP 265 is required and charged by the University of Roehampton and will be refunded to you 3 months
after the completion of studies providing there are no damages or charges incurred during your stay.

PRE-PAYMENTS NEW STUDENTS: upon acceptance of your application, a pre-payment of GBP 2100 must be paid within 30 days from the date of
the acceptance letter, in GBP by bank transfer, check or credit card. This pre-payment confirms your place in the program and is
refundable if a formal written cancellation is received before the 15th of November (for the winter intake) or 15th of May (for the
summer intake). The pre-payment is deducted from the first semester’s invoice.
RETURNING STUDENTS: Before returning to school, a pre-payment of GBP 2100 must be paid within 30 days from the date of
the pro-forma invoice, in GBP, by bank transfer, check or credit card. This pre-payment confirms your place in the semester and is
refundable if a formal written cancellation is received before the 15th of November (for the winter intake) or 15th of May (for the
summer intake). The pre-payment is deducted from the semester’s invoice.
Please note: if the student postpones his/her studies after the pre-payment has been made, the balance will be carried forward for
the next intake only. No refund will be made in this case.
PAYMENTS Payments must be made in full in GBP no later than the 15th of November (for the winter intake) and 15th of May (for the summer
intake), unless a payment plan contract has been approved. Payments can be made in GBP by bank transfer, check or credit card.
Students will not be permitted to begin their studies until payment for the semester has been received. Academic certificates and
degrees are only delivered / awarded when all fees and charges have been paid.
REFUND POLICY AND REVIEW OF FEES
The tuition fees paid for each semester are non refundable. If a student cancels before the official arrival date on campus, only the
pre-payment will be retained.
GIHE reserves the right to review and modify the tuition fees of each semester at any time and without notice. To maintain the
standards expected from the institution, the fees are reviewed annually.

INTERNSHIP (when applicable)
All students are requested to complete their internship(s) in establishments approved by Glion Institute of Higher Education. The
main objective is to prepare students for their professional career by developing their managerial, entrepreneurial and personal skills
to their fullest through interesting and challenging internships. GIHE has established excellent relationships with the hospitality
and tourism industry, and a wide choice of training possibilities are offered to students in large, medium or small companies, in the
United Kingdom and/or abroad. However, some countries can be restricted by Government visa, work permit, policies and language
requirements. Although internships are generally paid by the employer, the remuneration received cannot be expected to finance
studies at GIHE.
ADMISSIONS
At this time Glion London is only accepting applications from EU, EEA, Swiss, with other nationalities being able to apply soon.

Nationals from other countries can apply to Glion Switzerland following the normal Visa application process. These students can
complete their degree in Switzerland and will be able to take advantage of any transfer or study abroad option they are eligible for.
