Advances in Transfusion Medicine
Thursday 20 & Friday 21 November 2014
(Draft programme – 9 CPD credits for the two days)
To be held at The Royal College of Pathologists, 2 Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5AF
Advances in transfusion medicine and science are contributing to qualitatively and quantitative differences in transfusion practice with,
not only more evidence-based practice, but also a focus on patient blood management. Taken together the new evidence and practice
have changed, refined and in many cases reduced blood use nationally and internationally. This meeting brings together experts in
evidence based and clinical practice and leaders in the development of transfusion science to provide broad overview of important and
influential developments in transfusion. The meeting will be of wide interest to all those involved in transfusion medicine.
