Manulife Philippines opens second branch office in Cebu
Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines – Manulife Philippines has opened its second branch office in the
island province of Cebu on Tuesday, November 4. This development signals the growing
importance of the Visayas region in the company’s efforts to reach out to more Filipino families
throughout the country.
Located in Lapu-Lapu City, a prime tourist destination and home to a bustling industrial park, the
new branch is located at the Ground Floor, Lilang’s Building along M. L. Quezon Avenue. Rep.
Aileen Radaza (Congresswoman, Lone District of Lapu-Lapu City); Manulife Asia Chief Executive
Officer Robert A. Cook; and Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (CanCham)
President Julian Payne were among the guests of honor.

Manulife Philippines has close to 400 advisers in Cebu and Lapu-Lapu cities combined to service
the financial protection and investment needs of Cebuanos. In the Visayas alone, Manulife has
doubled the number of branch offices from 4 to 8 in the last two years. The opening of the LapuLapu City branch, alongside the existing Cebu City branch in Keppel Tower, Cebu Business Park,
brings the total number of Manulife branch offices in the Philippines to 32.
