Prosser (b.1943) (or Pross as he is affectionately known in his youth) is a proud Brummie through and through. Born and brought up in the Stechford area of Birmingham, he lived in a council house where the nearby fields, trees and river provided the adventure he craved as a child. 1948 to 1958 was spent at The Audley Road School where he enjoyed sport and excelled at the high jump. David developed a keen interest in vintage toys and particularly model trains and began to build up a private collection. Scouring auctions, fairs and shops, he quickly developed an eye for quality and thus built up a fine collection of collectable toys and model trains which gave him much pleasure. We are delighted to be offering David’s collection and we hope it will bring as much enjoyment and inspiration to its new owners as it has to him.
